Scout has Hamilton ranked as the #8 DE in the Nation & a 4*. He has offers from some big time programs such as Florida, FSU, LSU, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Miami, UGA, & Tennessee.

It's hard to see him leaving the state, he was at the UF spring game this past Saturday but he said he does like LSU alot & plans to visit them this summer.

Observations: Hamilton is a long defensive end with a great frame. He looks lighter than the 247 pounds he weighed in at, as the weight is evenly distributed from head to toe. He does a good job getting off the edge at the snap and using both speed and technique around the edge. He consistently won his one-on-one battles with offensive tackles, registering just one loss to Patrick Miller when he left himself open and exposed and got driven into the ground.

Nole Silent....depends on the year...STA, Mia NW and Mia Central have the most talent in the state and nation yearly. STA talent is mostly transfers and ex-pro kids.

then you have programs like Glades Central, Plant, BTW, Dwyer,Apopka, Jefferson, Armwood, Dr. Phillips and Miramar that are strong yearly and have solid players. This yearly the sleepers schools with talent seem to be Island Coast
and Mia Norland.

It is going to be really tough for UT to ever build relationships with the best HS in FL. That's what you need to get the best kids out of there.

STA is the premier program in Florida. They get the best coaching and have great technique. Also Hamilton is a NOLE as of right now. The coach at STA also doesn't allow the kids to commit unless they are 100% certain so he might not go public yet.

The hot school in FL where kids are transferring now besides STA seems to be Dwyer.

I'll agree with most of this but top to bottom Mia NW/Central has more or as much talent as STA...they just have some of the worst coaching. When Luther Campbell is a school's DC then you have some issue.

O Nooooez! NO Uncle Luke Slander, he's a student of the game. He's no different than any other coach who started out and worked his way up.

there's a LOT of shotty Coaching on the HS level in Florida. I see it alot first hand

Another Big DE who could add some weight and move inside. His highlights of him rushing inside look better than his edge highlights.

Not all DEs need to be recruited to play DT. IMO, if you want difference makers at DT....recruit DTs. If your being forced to take smaller guys with the intent to bulk them up and hope they can compete...your recruiting the wrong kids. A 240lb kid should not be in the DT talk at all.
