I wish I had an inside source to recruiting. I have a friend on the team but all he can tell me about is stuff that goes on at practice.

I'm not UTMvol76 and am not sure if this is what is being referred to, but there are rumblings from some players that the offensive gameplan for the NCG was different from what they had done all year. They had tried to implement different schemes for each unit, etc. Some players have complained about it publicly, but I forget which ones.

Tennessee just happened to have an opening with the Bullard spot freed up. If he's gonna get the chance to play for a BCS school in 2012 it looks like UT is his only shot. The Marshall thing was purely spot-saving at Div 1.

Yeah, he wanted to make sure he had a spot somewhere, but he obviously has higher ambitions.

i would hope so, no diss to marshall but it would be a shame to see his talents go to waste there, not saying were an amazing team by any means but at least he would get to play in the sec.

If it wasn't for grades, Marshall doesn't even get mentioned. He is a Vol the second he has a conmitable offer, imo
