Obrien, Autry, Pig Howard, Jelks, Patterson, Justin Merdith.

That's 6 more commits,7 if we take another TE.

Sean Price is the TE I want. Elite talent. Although I wouldn't turn down Meredith if he were to call up and commit. I wish they could get a big-time RB but that isn't going to happen. I'd take that list and be very happy with this class.

I'd sure like to get someone like Sentimore though in addition to O'Brien and Autry to finish off the Dline.

Obrien, Autry, Pig Howard, Patterson, Meredith or Price, Hamilton, and Sentimore plus two more gamechangers at any position probally dfense what a finish

"His best attribute is his ability to move laterally and play in the flats or even drop back. He isn't a one way player. He has good strength at the point of attack and is quick off the edge as simply a pass rusher using speed. His speed is good, but not the best in the class at the spot. He is a sure tackler when in the backfield and does a good job of punishing quarterbacks in the pocket while also securing the sack. He also does a good job of shedding blocks and playing the run. He has a good frame to bulk up further." - Chris Nee, Rivals.

I would like to thank Trent Taylor for making my day.. After my Braves decided to do what they did I thought I was going to sulk all day! NOPE!!!!

V,B

:loco: :clapping:

Don't sulk, they suck. I quit sulking a week after the all-star break. Time to start back following real winners now. VOLS/Titans/Preds, oh my.

"He told Tennessee last night that he was coming and he's going to be quoted as saying so sometime today/tonight.

I talked to his position coach a few minutes ago and they have not talked to the Miami coaching staff and they are not going to "confirm" anything or say anything until they talk to the Canes coaching staff.

That's where the kid and the high school are on the news that's certainly not a secret at this point." - Hubbs

anyone have access to the scout write up by inside tennessee? copy and pasties

Said he was a soft verbal to Al Golden after hearing about NCAA issues and his experience at the Montana game.

Talked about how his HS jumped from 4A classification to 6A and he still believes his team can make noise in the postseason.

Great pick WELCOME TO VOL COUNTRY TAYLOR!!!!!!!

For real? The Braves were better after the all-star break. We just tanked September.

Just got off the phone with an assistant coach that is close to Taylor down there and they just called Miami and let them know Trent is indeed committed to Tennessee now.

Taylor's at practice, but we'll be trying to catch up with him when he's done, but it's official now.

"He went on a visit up there and really liked it. He had a good feeling with Miami but the reason he opened things back up was because of the NCAA investigation and he wanted to go ahead and make a decision on what's best for him and his family," Lake Gibson defensive line coach Robert Whitaker said.

"They kept recruiting him. They didn't take no for an answer and they didn't push Miami issues with him. They were just brutally honest with him about their expectations with him and Tennessee. In other words, they weren't trying to shun Miami or anything like that. They weren't trying to say 'You need to come here because of Miami,' and this and that. That was just not the case. They just recruited Trent as a defensive end and were relentless in recruiting him," Whitaker said.

Rivals.com ranks Talyor as a 4-star prospect and the number 21 strongside defensive end in the country and is a mid-term enrollee.

Being an EE is huge. Not only the extra practice but we won't have to spend any time recruiting him after the first week of january.

And that my friends is class. Never tried using Miami's NCAA issues to sway a recruit. Bet a lot of other schools did. I'm glad Dooley is our coach.

Compared to the first half of the season, they were garbage. Anyhow, enough about them. Glad Trent finally pulled the trigger. GBO!!!

I know I'm late but BOOOOOOOOOOOOM V,B!!!

Great pick up by the staff, Taylor was higher on the board than we thought. I love how versatile he can be, can play DE & DT. The staff also really liked that he was an EE.

Oh & Dooley cant recruit :)
