I believe this to be true.

But understand how this works. No one gets a certified letter from said recruit stating what he thinks, then a replied certified letter from the coaches stating what they said.

What you have to learn on a message board is how to take information and logically figure out the in between stuff. I know this is a foreign concept, but believe me, practice makes perfect.

Example:

Recruit A loves School A. It's his favorite school, talks them up on all his interviews. Recruit A goes to School A's camp. Reports from reputable sources (again you have to use logic to determine who's reputable) start stating that Recruit A has bad attitude and has made a fool of himself. Now, all of a sudden, out of left field, the next week Recruit A starts talking big about School B, which is not nearly on the plane as School A. Weird thing, seems like coaches at School A don't care, according to reputable sources. They stopped going to his school, even while visiting others.

It's not rocket science and it does happen. We've lost some we've wanted, and dropped some we didn't. All in all, we've got a VERY strong class, but I'm betting you don't believe that either.

Absolutely...if the kid not taking his ACT till Decemer doesn't tell you he's not concerned about grade, and then the transcript doesn't tell you, then your ability to read an comprehend information is fairly limited. Dude's a troll and a half.

Nor did you! You are standing as the ONLY beacon of hope for your cause that Crawley is a lock to qualify but all the rest of the civilized world have made up his grade issues. Poor Crawley at least you are willing to stand behind him! I am starting to think you and Crawley have in common the same the test score and GPA.

So CNN.com (a reputable site like volquest) is claiming five troops were killed in afghanistan. Are they going to have to bring you the bodies and let you count them for you to believe them?

JUST BECAUSE HE DON,T HAVE ANY FACTS DON,T MAKE IT FALSE.Almost all post are peoples thoughts on what they hope for or think will happen.Also just because you and everyone on here including myself claim to be vol fans dont make that true either.But those who are orange blooded no who you are.Except those who are fans of other teams who either don,t want to surf and post on their teams site or they just want to get people on volnation upset.Or their just a-- holes who should leave volnation and go back to mutt nation and swamp rat site and the other sh-- hole team sites.I don,t mind reading post by vol fans except those who continue to bash dooley because we did not win 8 or 9 games.Knowing that when he was hired everyone absolutely everyone was saying that it would take three to four years to get the team back on track.And those including myself who can,t stand the fact we lost to uk.And bray had missed five games then was still not throwing to well because of the injury.The Vols will be better starting next year and we will get more of the top talent they have missed on the previous two recruiting cycles.GO VOLS!

All kidding aside, I do not need to see the bodies. I would be satisfied with the parents of said troops sending me a hand written letter confirming said events. I would need it notarized of course. :thumbsup:

I have been accused of being a Vandy fan, a Miss State fan, a Florida fan, and others. I just don't buy into the sunshine pumper ideals of alot of my fellow Vol fans and some feel if they call you a rival fan, then it would explain why I don't sip the Dool-Aid. It's just a fact alot of Vol fans do not think we are in a good place right now as a football program. The product on the field, just supports those ideals and opinons. You do not have to like it or accept it.

CDD did not get rid of Crawley - he did it to himself. Same goes for Kimbrow after he camped here last summer. Crawley grades - Kimbrow attitude. Simple.

Well no SH!+ we're not in a good place right now, who the hell thinks we are!?!?!?!

Difference is: some people can acknowledge where the blame goes in its proper context.

Another Example: Penn St. is in shambles. Alum are pissed at their new hire. Will their forseeable problems be O'Briens fault next year. Some will say yes, fire his a$$, we should have never hired him. He wasn't qualified, WE'RE PENN ST! Sound familiar?

I put the blame where it belongs. On the coaching staff and their inability to develop talent or coach these kids to compete.

Penn State while a mess in the media, was a decent football team 9-3. If they all a sudden start losing more, it will be on O'Brien as he is the HC and it is his job to win ball games. Their recruiting class this year looks similar to last years so I think they will be fine as far as on the field and playing football goes.

A) Who have the best players on the team been the last two years?

B) Penn St. is going to be in SHAMBLES for the next 3-4 years. This year's performance will have nothing to do with it. It will be because of off field performances the last 15 years. If you believe it will be the new staffs fault, well.... :lolabove:

The best players have been FR and SO. That makes sense as that is about all we had or should I say who CDD put on the field. I would question a few guys like Art Evans. He was picked All SEC if I recall going into last year. He can't see the field but we have guys getting beat deep on every play. Apparantly someone outside of UT thought Evans could play.


I am not saying that anything the pedos at Penn State did have anything to do with the new staff. I just do not think it is going to effect the actual football being played there as much as alot of people think. They won this year, and they will continue to do so. Why are you so sure it will all fall apart? New recruits headed to Penn State are not going to go in expecting to lose because of something that happened there years ago.

A) Exactly, we're playing all FR & SO while the rest of the SEC is playing upperclassmen. The stats don't lie there. It's like herding cats right now.

B) Wrong on Art Evans, you're thing Waggner. And IMO he improved BIG time this year from last. Coaching.

C) No one will want to associate themselves with Penn St. Their recruiting class is in fact falling apart, and awful.

worst scandal in college football of all time. Penn State will not win squat by pissing off this many people. The alumni are pissed at the execs and the new coach. The execs are still there. The victims are pissed and America is pissed for the victims. I think it is horrible and I hate it. But damn to rebound with a good season after losing your legendary coach bc Sandusky porked boys for a hobby would be so difficult. My money is on a losing record, and Lavar Arrington may not matter to you but I assure you that he matters to Penn St

I get that we are using alot of younger guys while other teams have older players. I just did not see alot of improvement from our Sos this year. As much as alot of them played as FR, I expected alot more. OLine is one area I would point to that took a big step back in development IMO. I know some point to they improved their pass blocking, I say seeing that they did not bother to even try to run block, they should be able to dance the 2 step with a DE.

Maybe I am mistaken about Evans. I just think CDD made some very questionable moves with fielding the team. Why was Brodus just pushed aside after he made all his kicks in the game where he came off the couch? CDD said he was afraid to count on the kicking unit in the Vandy game. Maybe he forgot his walk on kicker made all 4 of his kicks the week before.

While I do not really follow Penn State recruiting, in looking at their class this year they have a few 4 stars mixed in with alot of 3 stars. It was much the same last year before the bombshell news. They did not fall apart this year and anyone who says they will fall apart next year is just guessing. When things do not go your way alot of people fold, or quit. Some overcome the negatives or the adversity they are facing. I guess it all depends on who is leading the group. Faced with adversity, our team this year really struggled. Penn State won 9 games with the circus around their program.

you left out very annoying, argumentative, and being a Nega-Vol...I'm sure that I have missed a few...Dooley is our coach and we need to support him and his players while he is on the hill. This constant bashing of CDD does no one any good except giving other schools something to tell recruits about fans and that Dooley's time is limited...go Vols!

I prefer to enjoy following Tennessee football and not ***** constantly about the state of the program. I love UT, knoxville and its traditions so I remain confident we can not only get back to a consistent top ten team but win every game or at least compete. I feel that way because why cheer for a team that you think will lose every game? Why watch sports? It'd be pointless. Cheering for a team is a great experience. You laugh, you cry, you break the Comcast remote during the BS call during the UNC game, and talk crap to strangers. Whats the point of all of that if you are just going to constantly think in a negative way?

I feel like a program has a better chance when it's fan base is proud and optimistic rather than a bunch of complaining, ignorant douchbags that recruits have even noticed. Stop complaining and support your damn program like it was your child. Support the coach because YOU DON'T HAVE A SAY IN THE MATTER. Your message board opinion is worthless to the AD. However its valuable in the future successes (recruits) of the program regardless of its minimal impact. /small rant.

His HS is in the toughest neighborhood in DC and probably the entire country. When he was born, DC was the murder capital of the world. The odds were stacked against him and it sounds like (although I would be guessing) the HS admin didnt help

I'm not trying to dog him B/c he sounds like a great guy and athlete or where he grew up b/c the place is turning around, just trying to get everyone to visualize the situation
