'12 D.C. DB Kenneth Crawley

Still doesnt mean anything. Yes they are friends, thats great. But if you think hes going to be here for a long time you are kidding yourself.

Where did I say he'd be here for a long time?

Despite a slight difference in spelling, this Ozzy reference seems relevant given he is interested in mortuary science.

Mr. Craaaaawwwwwley, what went wrong in your head? Oh, Mr. Crawley, did you talk with the dead?

:whistling:

Congratulations and welcome Kenneth!

DCJW and CPS were team mates at UO, they have a good, solid relationship, and both are committed to what they are doing at Tennessee. I don't see either one leaving anytime soon.

If we do well over the next 3-4 years, I can see Wilcox getting a head job and Sirmon becoming DC....

He may not this season but you can bet teams will be offering a ton of money to get him. He will definitely be getting a nice raise to counter the offers.

And there are lots of great DCs out there to learn from. I dont think hes joined at the hip with Wilcox.

This staff loves them some EE's. Such a great head start for those that do, even though they are giving up so much to do it.

“i felt like i was a vol down there, going out to eat and everything. Everybody was showing me love, so i felt welcome there.”

“(tennessee linebackers) coach (peter) sirmon, we’ve got a strong relationship, and we talk about everything. I just felt that was the place for me to be.”

“basically, it’s a place where i can see myself playing for the next four years,”

Scout had an article earlier today about Crawley, and the teaser made it sound like he was considering other schools now. Anyone have a subscription?

Said Miami, UGA, Michigan, and Texas Tech have been calling him but he's happy with his decision and can't wait to get here. Also likes the thought of playing in the SEC.
