#12 Clemson vs GA Tech

These defenders for Tech are getting turned around, are so far off the receivers. There’s no chance to defend those passes.

Gonna half to stack the box and go tight man on the receivers.

ain’t no way you’re winning that size match up right there.

Again. Love hearing the review booth and taking the announcers making guesses on it out of the equation and skewing the fans at home thoughts on it before the review call.

All of college football and NFL broadcasts need to use this.

Agree. SEC needs to add that immediately.
NFL too.

Neither probably will because having the announcers guess (in their usually, like, half-intelligence on the matter) dramatically lowers the angered engagement (namely virtual and especially post-game) that comes in turn once the review’s decision is announced.

But it would be better for the game as a whole.

Alright, Tech. Use all 3:26 of that clock and kick a FG with :01 remaining. Go win this.

Also TD Clemson up the middle to make it 21 all with about 3 minutes left.

Tech needed about 13 plays and 6 minutes for its last (and really only full field) TD, so a much shorter clock like this is unfortunately not on their side when it comes their offense.

So, was Clemson charged a timeout on penalty there or had they already used one this half?

If I’m tech I really don’t mind taking this to OT. Don’t let Klubnik have a shot in regulation .

If a player goes down after the ball is spotted they are charged a timeout. If no timeouts it’s a penalty. One of the rules trying to limit the fake injuries.
No, I’m aware of that. I’m asking did the referees actually call for that penalty at that moment? (Or had I missed Clemson already use one of its timeouts in the 3rd/early 4th quarter?)

They need to beat them in regulation. 20-30 yards out is easily enough for Clemson’s offense to (more-regularly) score, and there’s no great guarantee Georgia Tech’s offense would each time either.
