Kinda seems like a Jeff Luc 2.0....hopefully it will turn out differently. The fact that he's in Alabama may help....Thompson should be all over him.

Just saying....That's Thompson's ground, and he's gotta know of Thompsons ability. Might help us. I know it's Alabama though....and it'll probably be tough to get him. But...we obviously have a shot.

Funny. Thompson has never, to my knowledge, gotten any Alabama kids unless he was an assistant at Alabama.

I can be wrong. I just thought he recruited that area. I mean, the man's only been with us for two recruiting seasons, and really only one and a half. I don't care who gets him, as long as they do..

I personally think Lance Thompson is abit overrated as a recruiter. Sure he can land guys when he Saban watching his back, but considering Bama did fine, or better AFTER he left, leads me to believe Thompson gets overrated very easily.

I doubt the perfect regular season and BCS bowl in Saban's 2nd season and their recent National Championship helped their recruiting...good call.

you're fighting an uphill battle when recruiting a kid from Alabama. Almost all kids love Auburn or Alabama and then you have to out-recruit Saban and Chiz. Smartest thing to do is just go recruit Georgia.

He recruited 6 of our guys last year, the biggest of which was JaJuan James. Stop posting. It's early enough for you to stop.

I think Saban threatens to eat the kids that don't come to Bama. That's how he gets who he does. Saban is hungry.

CLT is a very good recruiter but it is hard to pull kids out of AL even when UA or the Barn isn't doing really well. Kids want to come in and turn the program around.

I also agree that GA is the state to pick from right now and they have alot more depth than AL with top tier talent. Now with everyone watching to see if CMR can recover and if he doesn't he is probably gone.
