Pretty sure everybody concedes it’s a gradual thing. I believe Fulmer wants Tee groomed for a bigger eventual role...my guess HC. Cuz any decent AD has a succession plan. Had to smart for Fulmer not to even interview Tee for the HC position, because he wasn’t remotely qualified. At USC, they placated Tee to retain his recruiting, but there was never an effort to qualify him imo. He wasn’t in their plans.
THANK YOU! Some people either dont get it or dont want too

Whoa. It looks like we have been finetunning our staff and now we have someone who wants to take it back to where it has been for the last 10 years. What goes with this love relationship with Tee. He got fired at USC because he could not handle the CoOC position there.
Tee got blamed for bad head coaching decisions. And why not love the gut....hello....'98!

He is a great recruiter and a good addition to the staff. However, his coaching abilities have not been his greatest asset. He reminds me a lot of Rodney Garner.

you could maybe say the same thing about Ansley. could be Ansley/Tee are the future....HC/OC......don't want to put the cart before the horse or anything, but between Ansley and Martin, there's a lot of future potential there as they both work their way up.

You want to hire the best possible candidate, of course. If Ansley blooms in this higher role and does so establishing himself at Knoxville, he’d be such a candidate.

I hope the three of them, Pruitt, Martin and Ansley kick some serious hind end for 4 or 5 years together before they break up the band.
