yea, long story short. high school thing that went south before she was conceived (re-tap), her mom and I never got back together afterwards, until 15 years later.

I knew she was mine. wasn't man enough to accept it. started coming around a few years later and then her mom got married and moved out here to CO while I was still in MI. we would see each other a couple times a year when they would come back to visit, but her mom and I didn't really reconnect until about 4 years ago. since then, I've moved out here, we've bought a house together and we will be getting married in the future.

sounds good, look forward to seeing it. i thought i was going to be a pops on 2 diff occassions, one was the first wk of college my hs gf was several days late. but i was so hung up on alcohol i didn't care.

the second one was last yr to the girl who i thought i'd marry. i was actually kind of excited, but she ended up not being and then we broke up a few months later. glad i didn't buy a ring

those near misses are the worst. had a few of those in my day as well. never have you prayed so hard for something to show up that you always hope to avoid any other month.

Awww Kev, I love your story, how sweet! Isn't that so wild that you guys ended up together, that is wonderful. I love weddings! :cray:

Mania, I hope you find her soon and be kind enough to make sure she has birthing hips for those babies you want every other year! Seriously, I think that is so sweet :)
