On this course that is what it takes..Don't get fancy or you will double bogey. Hit good shots straight and take your pars. that is why that ametuer Hossler is doing good not forcing shots just playing safe. Tiger hitting crazy shots and being overly aggressive hitting driver when he didn't have to was his downfall today..imo
I only saw him hit driver twice. On 9 I think & he birdied. On 16 where it didn't matter. He hit some terrible chips & didn't make any putts.
Maybe I was distracted from watching after my lil boy but he did attack greens on shots where it would have been beneficial to layup. Tiger doesn't hit his driver as much anymore because he can't control it with his new swing and it has helped him recover his game. He pulled it out of the bag when he shouldn't have today is all I'm saying.
I was lying, bro...
I'm not I slice the fawk out of it and have tried several changes. Then I duck hook that son beech. My 3 wood I can hit straight down the middle. I need a higher loft driver can't hit a 7 degree or 9 worth a damn. But haven't been able to play as of late with a newborn in da house.
OS is catching me at a key time in my game, which has been lost and found several times in the last few months. I am close to changing every stick.
And maybe even going lefty.
I really think the warm winter hurt my game. I'm one that doesn't like to think and doesn't practice, so if I take time off, I swing free and play well. The more I have played, the more tinkering and thinking I have done, and I'm not good enough to play well. I played through winter, and have had my worst 3 months in awhile as far as ball striking.
