I thought you couldn't host recruits at your home as a coach? Or am I missing something? Is this exactly what Pearl is in trouble for?

No, I dont think Dooley has had the in home visit yet. I could be wrong, Dooley & Baggett just went to his basketball game.

Clear will visit UT in late January, were his last visit. He is a Vol just waiting until Jan to announce it.

I could be wrong but I thought Dooley went to Clears game then afterwards went to Tino Thomas' to eat dinner.

I think Clear enjoyed himself and has a legitimate liking for Duke. However, in the grand scheme of things I think he has enough people around him to know that he will never flourish at Duke regardless of who the coach is going to be.

I don't think Clear is going to have a problem getting recognized no matter where he ends up going to school. He is too much of an athlete not to and can play multiple positions on any team.

Clear's a good athlete to get noticed wherever he goes.

No offense to Tennessee, but if Clear's a good enough student to succeed at Duke, it's a legit threat to Tennessee.

I agree that great athletes will get noticed no matter where they are. However getting noticed and getting drafted high is two separate things. If Tyler Bray never starts does Stocker get drafted as high as he will now? If Cam is planning on playing TE he needs to go to an offense that will make the most of his abilities, I'm pretty sure that isn't Duke.

If a kid has measurables and shows out at the combine, they'll go high.

Anyways, if you have a Duke degree, does it matter?

VERY true. Kids that have the measurables at the combine get noticed and drafted. Kids who have SMARTS to go along with their skill tend to make it in the league. Clear will be an attractive prospect regardless where he goes to school IMO.
