"Everything is going all right for now," said Cameron Clear. "I have offers from Alabama, Memphis and Duke. That's all for now. I am receiving interest from UCLA, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Georgia and Illinois."

"The visit to Alabama was great," he said. "That's when I was offered by them. Coach Saban called me in his office. He offered me. It was a good offer and was excited about it. I like the coaches there. I also like how the players work."

this in-state TE holds a Bama offer.

Clear was dominant against us (Memphis Mitchell). We had amazing speed and Clear made us run away from him. He is very athletic and moves extremely well. Vols need to jump on him soon.

Central is my high school.

Boy, that football team has really fallen off over the years. Good to see someone coming out of there get some attention.

Clear, a 6-foot-6, 265-pound athlete, claims offers from Alabama, Duke and Memphis. The talented Bluff City tight end also claimed an offer from last year’s Tennessee coaching staff. According to Clear, the Vols Charlie Baggett is scheduled to be in Memphis this week to see Clear first hand.

“Coach Baggett is suppose to be here tomorrow or Wednesday,” Clear said. “Coach Hobby from Duke was at practice today.”

This may be our next TE target now that Heuerman is gone. He held a Vol offer from kiffin.

He's from Memphis, this may be outside the new staff's 3hr radius for recruiting. We may have a chance if Bama pulls their offer for some reason.

Alabama has limited space and has already had one TE commit this year. Worth noting.

“He was one of the better looking athletes at the event,” Chad Simmons, Southeast Recruiting expert for Scout.com said. “He definitely passes the eye ball test. He is big and physical and did a good job this weekend.”

“Everyone definitely knows who Cameron Clear is now,” Tennessee All-Star Coach Byron Devinner told InsideTennessee.com. “He is physical but has great hands. He made some incredible one hand catches that were unbelievable.”

THE INSIDE TAKE ON CLEAR

A big physical weapon on the offensive side of the ball. He made several tough catches look easy. Great size, great flexibility, great hands.

One of the most impressive things about Clear was his physical frame. It’s easy to see how Clear could easily grow into a NFL type offensive lineman.

“His legs are like tree trunks,” one Scout.com expert noted. “He has great feet and is very strong. I definitely can see him being an All-American type offensive lineman at the college level.”

Buck just now said Clear is the #2 player in the state in his opinion and Blur believes he is in the top 5 for sure.
