'11 TN RB Chris Sensabaugh

did you hear the voice of the little girl ? I'm sure I did one night

Through the drive through tunnel, no. In the Tunnell just down the rd that the creek actually runs though, it sounds like it(even though it's just the water off the rocks) still creepy though, especially when you get to the other end and it's complete darkness....... lived close to that tunnel throughout highscool. good times, good times.

As much as I love my Tri-Cities urban legends, I am hoping to hear how CS enjoyed Knoxville this weekend? Also do you think their is anyway we offer?

I doubt it, he is talented. But i think he would be a glorified backup for 4 years here. Still wouldn't mind seeing him in Orange though.

my nephew plays ball with him,I'll have to check with him and see how much he has heard from UT

I'd try him out at linebacker. I feel confident he'd be better than Darryl Vereen or Josh Hawkins.

Chris has played both ways (RB/S); he just didn't play much D last year due to injury.

He also played some at linebacker. I don't think that his injuries had much to do with him not playing D as much. He carries the team and needs rest a lot, which is understandable as he plays on both sides of kickoff and kick return.

good ole sensabaugh tunnel. creepy place for sure.

sull. south alum here...never seen this kid play though. you hear good and bad things about him, but you never know how a kid will transition to the D1 level, so never write off a kid because you've seen him play a handful of times.

DB should be back on track this year. Chris is an exceptional athlete yet he wont be alone this year.

First let talk about speed.

1) Sean Seabolt is the fastest kid on the team. He is the most versitle player on the field but will have his stellar performances at the starting QB. Dont know exact but would say 4.3 40, height 5'10 and weight is about 150. Class of 2011

2) Derick Steele is extremley fast and has excellent hands. He has a knack of pulling off big plays. He has excellent timming and great field vision. An Appox 4.4 40, height 5'8 and weight is about 150. Class of 2011

3) Chris Sensabough is a smaller RB that hits like a freight train and has a heart of a Lion. He is very dedicated and has a solid up the middle run and once he has some speed behind him he is very hard to take down. Approx 4.6 40, height 5'9 and weight is about 190. Class of 2011

4) Devon Swafford is our upcomming talent. He is fast with the ability to cut on a dime. He is young but very talented. He has great field vision and the ability to make quick desicions. height 5'9, Approx 4.5 40, and weight around 155. Class of 2013

Now lets get in the trenches

5) Corey Hall is big, strong and extremley fast for his size. He plays OT and some DE. He has exceptional feet and agility. He will be their work horse on the OL this year due to his size and speed. Approx weight 255, height 6'4 and around a 4.8 40. Class of 2011

6) Tyler Hayworth is huge. He plugs up the middle with no problem. He is very strong and moves good for his size. He is very dedicated and has a great work ethic. He plays Guard and Nose and plays both positions very well. Approx weight 285, height 6'3 and around a 5.4 40. Class of 2012

I don't have exact 40 times, weight and height. This is just my personal analysis and opinion. We have several more good athletes but these are the cream of the crop with some maybe to be added later.

Seabolt and Steele both run about a 4.5 40. Hayworth is the one to keep an eye on. He is breaking all the lifting records at DB and he's only a sophmore. He is gonna be huge

I was close :dance2:. I agree Hayworth is to be looked at for his size and strength I think he put on like 80 to 100 pounds from season to season. Corey plays Tackle and it's a difficult position to play. You have to have size, strength and be able to be very mobile to handle those DE and LB that have a 5 yard run at your QB or RB. OT is a very important insurance that you must have. All positions are important it's just some take quiet a bit more technique, there for raises the bar. You take Hall and Hayworth and match them one on one and they will be pretty much deadlocked, I've seen it. Two great athletes that are very dedicated. Someone told me Hayworth was over 300 now is this true?

Tyler is big but from what I hear he's SLOW and doesn't move very well. In his defense, he's young and will surely continue to develop. Being big and strong definately helps, but at the next level when everyone at that position is BIG and STRONG the difference maker is being quick and agile..

I think you may have all these kids a little faster than they really are..

That being said, I wish all the DB kids an extra dose of good luck. I went to school and played ball there MANY moons ago..

Coach Graham Clark has never played a freshman on the Varsity team as far as I know. I'm almost certain Chris is the first one. I really do think that in a few years UT will offer him a scholarship. I'd love to see him develop into a guy that can play running back at the college level, but if he doesn't, I bet he'd make a hell of a linebacker.

We missed out on a couple of good safeties from D-B. Gerald Sensabaugh plays for the Jaguars (although he's on IR right now). Patrick Ghee now plays for the Seahawks and was a starter on that great Wake Forest defense last season. I think both would have been contributors at UT.

erald Sensabaugh does not play for the Jaguars, nor is he on IR... He is the starting safety for the Dallas Cowboys.

To the above post that wants to point out my 40 times, I remind you im not a stop watch and said that this was my personal analysis from the sideline. Nothing definate. Just trying to give an insider view to others of some good players on this team. Also, stop watch and Laser will give you 2 different times as well and this could be the difference in that few million your talking about.

I totaly agree with you on this, thats why I said Hall will be their work horse on the line this year. He is Big and fast and has excellent feet and agility. He is very field strong as well. He will be making the pulls and blocks for the offense because he has the strength and speed. If he can get his conditioning up I also see him getting alot more time at DE.
Hayworth is young but in his defense, he's come along way from last year in his ability to move.
On my 40 times like I said before, this is a personal analysis of what I would GUESS their times to be.

Since you like correcting people, get your facts straight, at the time the first note you are commenting on was posted in Nov 2007, Gerald Sensabaugh was in his third season with the Jaguars, got injured in the second game and spent the rest of the 2007 season on IR. He did not sign with Dallas until the 2009 season.

Whatever, he ain't that good, not special anyway and I'm all for local talent.

The latest DB, Sensabaugh (Chris) took a huge step backwards, last year. Good game one week, next game poof! Decent game next week then poof again. etc.,etc..
