'11 TN RB Chris Sensabaugh

The most unintentional comedy in one thread I have ever seen.

Also, when was it that DB was undefeated and hosting a 5-5 William Blount team with a guy named Reese Macmahan at QB....and got stomped? Probably the best one-man-show game I've ever seen.

Yeah Reese was a pretty good athlete but boy I tell you, I have never met a guy in my life that likes to fight more than him. I saw a basketball game vs south doyle where he came off the bench and just layed into one of their players. He is about as fisty as his sister Cait McMahan.

Yep, Bobby Hill was a freshman on the 1980 team, senior on 1983 team. I heard about Doug Riner from ol' Coach Peters when he was our line coach. Riner could have been something special if he had not had such a short tragic life.....I played with his little brother Dee Riner and he was quite a big and fairly talented defensive tackle too....he never talked about his brother though....

What do you guys think of Derek Steele (sp?) ?

I've seen DB play a few times, and he really stands out to me.

Derek is going to be a great reciever in his next two years along with chris at running back. Sean Seabolt will most likely be the other receiver with Roop at QB. (seabolt ran a 4.6 40 today) not sure what Chris and Derrick ran however. There is some major speed coming out of this sophomore class.

Doug didn't die, he was paralyzed in a fall. He was without a doubt a very talented D lineman.

I wouldn't call a 3 point loss getting stomped. Losing 42-6 would probably qualify.

I corrected you. I don't care about your alma mater. You also got that expression wrong.

I just didn't understand the 42-6 reference. Also, if I want to say an undefeated team playing at home got their asses STOMPED by a 5-5 one man team, regardless of point total, I feel it's perfectly fine to do so.

The last time D-B played William Blount, it was a 42-6 victory. They only lost five games because the superstar you referenced so many times was out for much of the season. Go discuss something else.

Thanks for the correction....my recollections of conversations 24+ years ago are not as sharp as they used to be....still a tragic story....

Is Chris Sensabaugh a D-1 prospect? I saw him play aginst Oak Ridge last year and thought he was good, but not that big or fast.

He better learn how to run behind his pads. I know he is young but he runs straight up.. Should be a good one though. I'm thinking linebacker material in college..

People said the same thing about his cousin, who was a state champion track star, defensive MVP for UNC, and NFL starter. He'll play somewhere either as a RB or LB. I've heard he's better as a LB, but more valuable to a high school team carrying the ball.

I would put Weldon Garlington in there along with Matthew Hamby

The kid has another 2 years to develop. A highschool kid can get a lot bigger and stronger in 2 years.
