I just think you have to take this kid. I think he is just a solid in state kid you can't afford to leave. I mean be in the dark on this one though. Apparently our coaches don't think he is worth a scholly which sucks.

Did he play last night?

How is the season shaping up for him. I watched his Rivals vids from last year. They are SOOO doctored up (sped up that is) in certain parts. They just look fake.

the film is not doctored...I know who made it and when it was made so it is not sped up or slowed down.....

he has rushed for 998 yards in 9 games and scored 13 tds...has over 1500 APY yards and 14tds......

why is it when a kid is from TN people gotta start making up reasons why they can't be good? I dont get that....the film now is sped up...its doctored up. The film is not doctored......the rivals clips are cut ups from an 11 minute dvd that was sent out to college coaches....

Every since I saw the video of him at the UT camp this summer I was a fan. I hope he is suited up in Orange and White 2011!

I agree, those clips of him at camp this year showed he had the skills to play with the top tallent in this years recruiting class. I too hope they can find a spot on the roster for him.

Had over 200 yards rushing...including a 90+yard run and 3 tds tonight against Knoxville Catholic in a win......on the season 1200 yards rushing 16 tds..over 1800 APY and 17tds total......another all state type year....they finished the season 8-2 and should be a playoff team as a wildcard...they could potentially play Ooltewah in 1st rd......
finished last night with over 300 APY yards...

finished year with 1450 yards rushing and 19 tds on the season over 2000 APY(in really 10 1/2 games) and 20tds...over the last two years in 23 games (has not missed a game) 4100 APY and 41 tds...

the vols requested his tapes last. I thought it was ironic that they did that the week after they played Ole Miss and McClusker.....DY visited Vandy last week....he is at UGA today.....

the leaders are Stanford...Georgia Tech...Alabama...LSU..if the Vols show more interest....I'm sure he will take a strong look..

actually he plays in TN's highest classification...and the district that he played in was the toughest in E. TN and one of the top 5 districts statewide...

and that is still not an issue because every camp combine this kid goes to he is one of the best...................against kids from everywhere..he is always at the top of the list when he competes.......you can check him out at the US Army All Amercian Combine in January.....with the nations best.....I'll be sure to give you an update..

oh cause i went to south doyle and we used to play bearden even farragut wasnt that impressive i guess there in the same division

South Doyle really hasnt been good since they changed the name from South Young and merged with Doyle....besides I don't think you can use your playing against them as a reference point on how good another kid is.......there are several kids in the Knoxville area now who are D-1 prospects and it will be that way for a few years to come...you have some of the best players in the state in Knoxville...in 2011 and 2012 classes..and 2013

Thanks for the updates orangeblur.

I will be interested in how he performs in our camps again this year. I am assuming that he is invited. I hope we give him a very strong look. What we don't want is another Randle Cobb snafu.

Devrin sounds like the real deal. McCluster all over again.

Devrin is a speedster. I relly don't know what position he would project the best at but I hope this kid ends up in orange and white in 2011!
