'11 TN OL/DT Cody Robinson

I heard he showed up and thought Robinson actually played cornerback. Don't take it as fact, its just what I heard...

Not what I heard. I heard he went to the school but just sat in the office and waited on Robinson. Robinson never came looking for him, so he just left.

Us getting a recruit from Tennessee are you serouis guys there is no way this will happen

Cody went to the ESPN Rise Nike training Camp in Alabama yesterday. He stood out in a very talented group. He Took OL MVP. He really opened a lot Of peoples eyes. Does anyone know how his spring ball is going?

Robinson showed a real nastiness and mean streak as a blocker. He has good feet and strength, and he has some versatility. Robinson took on all comers and was the offensive line MVP and could see some middle tier offers begin to turn into some major programs.

Isn't he on record as saying he loves the Vols?

Isn't he also a legacy?

If both are yes then we should offer now

I agree we really need him. I believe we have a great shot as long as we offer him quick.

I really could be wrong on Robinson though. The more I read about him this weekend the more I like him. Alot of the big time OL who were expected to be there didn't show, but he still beat out Trai Turner and '12 beast Michael Flint. He went up against some solid competition on the DL too like DJ Pettway, Quay Evans, and Allen Carson.

Cody Robinson from McMinnville-Warren County, Tenn., earned the camp’s offensive lineman MVP. Robinson was consistent in one-on-one drills and always wanting to battle against the best. He displayed great strength and footwork throughout the day.

And on Rivals' top performers list, Robinson was ranked as the #5 prospect at camp. Look at the other names on this list just to give you an idea of how good that really is.

1. James Wilder Jr.
2. HaSean Clinton-Dix
3. Stefon Diggs ('12)
4. Marcquis Roberts
5. Cody Robinson
6. DJ Pettway
7. Jonathon Rose

5. Cody Robinson
OG, 6-4/306, McMinnville (Tenn.) Warren County
With eight offers under his belt, including offers from the likes of Vanderbilt, Duke and Syracuse, Robinson is hardly an unknown but on Saturday he showed that he may be undervalued. Robinson may not have the 6-foot-6 height or length of some of the other elite prospects nationally but at 6-4, 306 pounds he is plenty big enough. He also showed that he has the mindset you want out of an offensive lineman. Robinson earned the offensive line MVP thanks in part to a mean streak that helped him spend much of the day planting defensive linemen into the turf. Likely a guard at the next level, Robinson also took a few reps on defense and generally was one of the day's best competitors.

That's great news LV. He definitely just went up in my book too. For him to be #5 on the list with the likes of Wilder, etc. is awesome.

Good info LV, I really don't know much about the 2 accept as of now there not highly rated. Personally I think bleeding orange is worth a extra star for our future vol recruits and both seem to do so.

I really think he gets too little credit because no one knows or has heard of Warren County. Man look at his numbers. squat 575. Bench 430. Clean 335. Forty 4.84. Shuttle 4.39. These are from several different sources. I believe he is a better overall player than Posey however Posey is 6'6 Robinson is 6'4. jMO
