"My speed is definitely, most offensive linemen are just big and not very athletic," Robinson said. "But my speed, it helps on defense and pursuing the ball and on the other side of the field. My strength is a big thing. To start on the line, it's all about strength and everything. That first punch is everything. I also can intimidate, because most people get intimidated when someone's 6-foot-4, 310. That helps a lot."
"I've been invited to several more junior days and I'll go, but I haven't decided where yet," he said. "Illinois has invited me. As far as camp goes, this summer, I'll probably go to Arkansas, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Duke for sure, then as many more as I can get in."
"Every school has a good possibility," he said. "Duke and Syracuse are definitely at the top, because they've already offered. As far as everyone else, it's open."
Quoted in the Southern Standard as saying he was selected as an all-combine player in Atlanta. There were over 2000 prospects there. Also said he was hand-timed in the 40 and ran 4.89, 4.90, and 4.91. Sounded like he had a good trip to Duke too.
LOL at the Southern Slander
Govols120 I agree. I don't know much about Warren County but I have done research and Cody is the only football player to have D1 offers from WC in over 35 years. By Cody signing it will help a LOT of younger players.
“I talked to Coach (Harry) Hiestand and Coach (Jim) Chaney a lot yesterday,” Robinson noted. “They seem like they like me a lot.”
“I think they are going to offer,” Robinson said. “I just think it’s a matter of time.”
“I will be going to one of the one day offensive linemen camps at Tennessee for sure,” Robinson. “They want me to come to camp and they want to get a chance to see me perform there.”
“It’s Tennessee,” Robinson said. “I love the tradition, I love the fan support. There was over 35,000 fans there for a spring game. I love everything about Tennessee Football.”
