I'm referring to UT's recent recruiting history in middle TN. try to keep up please[/QUOTE

It seems like we are especially bad at sifting through MidTn's wr talent. We've been getting guys like Austin/Zach Rogers and Todd Campbell, but we have put little or no effort to get guys like Marlon Brown, Patrick Turner, and Golden Tate.

Well to be fair A rogers best year was prob as good as P turners best year, although tate is a helluva player...you're right though teams like notre dame and bama seem to be able to pick who they want from middle tenn. Mark my words though: if cdd puts the full court press on him he'll be a vol. Pioneer to Volunteer baby!!

Wrong, we went after the first two extremely hard. Tate was never interested in UT.

We have had many TN boys slip to Alabama and many other schools. But they are gone now. CDD needs to get Cody quick before saban does.

Yeah I read on another site. Cody had said. " I really enjoyed the game at UT". I think it was the OHIO game he went to.

Robinson was a fixture at team camps last summer, as he went to camps at local and out of state schools.

"I went to the 1-day OL camp at Tennessee and 1-day camps at MTSU and UTC" said Robinson.

"I also went to camps at Alabama (4-day) and Kentucky (3-day). I plan on attending more camps this summer, but before that, in the spring, I'm going to participate in the Nike Combine in Atlanta. I'm hearing from Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Cincy, Duke, Illinois, UNC, Notre Dame, Syracuse, UCLA and Western Kentucky. I talk to UCLA a lot and Syracuse has invited me to their Junior Day. I'm expecting some offers soon from some of those schools, but I would like to hear from every school if I can."

I was talking to buddy and he said he knew Cody. He talked to him today. He said Cody spoke highly of UT but that he had talked to alot of other schools. CDD let's get to the HILL. It is almost the greatest day of the year!

Cody is family. He is one of the finist young men you will ever meet. He is a good student, polite, church going, well raised and any other good thing you can say.

Cody will go to UT if he is welcome there. If not, Alabama will steal him.

The UT folks with clout need to sure Cody is looked at.

IMO we have a lot better chance to sign him with the current staff than with X/O and their hijinks.

I'm a friend of Cody's and I go to the same school as him. He's talked to a LOT of schools (Tennessee, Alabama, Vandy, Ole Miss, Florida, Duke, and about fifteen to twenty more). He hasn't personally talked to CDD yet but hopefully he'll get the opportunity to do shortly.

We took the two best prospects this year from our state.

This kid is an absolute must get - before I say that we need to see how well he performs in camps.

Scout.com: Former Vol's son has interest in UT

Can anyone tell us what this has to say? Are we getting close to offering? Would he accept soon? Is he even worth a scholarship?

I've noticed neither scout nor rivals ranks him very high or says he has any offers. Any info would be great.

I want to know what is says also. He would be a great player for UT. I think the scout and rivals ratings are not correct. He flew under the radar for a while. ( He is not under the radar now) Give the ratings a while and I think they will be better. Must get for UT.

“I grew up in Orange all my life,” Robinson told InsideTennessee.com. “If I get an offer from them like I think I will, it would be very easy for me to commit to them on the spot.”

Robinson, a 6-foot-4, 310-pound athlete from McMinnville Tennessee, has earned all Region honors for the last two years.

Robinson currently has no official offers but is being recruited heavily by Tennessee, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Purdue, Ole Miss, Duke and Illinois.
