The thing is, according to several reliable posters he has repeatedly assured our staff even as recently as yesterday he is a Vol. That is the difference. I don't think any of these guys have done that. B.Moore is another one who has told the coaches he is a vol. If you are not coming, then for goodness sakes just be a man and say so.
You mean like when we took the TE and DE commitments back last year and then later cut them loose?
Telling people what they want to hear is all part of the recruiting game. been played that way for a hundred years.
Power and Parker were let go in plenty of time to land on their feet. If they were to have cut them loose last week I would be extremely disappointed in our Coach.

well, if he has a really good next 4-5 days you have the potential to be disappointed with him. If enough of these 4 stars want to come he will have to face that decision.
I for one hope he does the right thing. Look I'm not so naive that I don't understand what these guys have to do. I mean they don't get do-overs and nobody is going to cut them any slack for losing "the right way", but you are old school enough to get this saying my grandaddy taught me. "Son there is a big difference between slipping in the mud, and wallowing in a pig sty"
yep, heard that one.
I agree with you premise all the way. I just know that reality in this conference is you win with studs and for everyone you turn away the longer the road is back. Take too long and someone else will be driving instead of you.
