'11 TN OL/DL Antonio Richardson

Per Newberg Richardson is visiting Auburn alone. No family along.

CMR was with Richardson from around 9 30-2 today. No word on how the visit went.

staff as well. would feel better if he was home or in Knoxville, but Auburn preferred over USC

Somebody who lives near there, go let the air out of their tires(wear an au sweatshirt of course), that might slow them down enough so they can change their minds again....

The thing is, according to several reliable posters he has repeatedly assured our staff even as recently as yesterday he is a Vol. That is the difference. I don't think any of these guys have done that. B.Moore is another one who has told the coaches he is a vol. If you are not coming, then for goodness sakes just be a man and say so.

You mean like when we took the TE and DE commitments back last year and then later cut them loose? :)

Telling people what they want to hear is all part of the recruiting game. been played that way for a hundred years.

Power and Parker were let go in plenty of time to land on their feet. If they were to have cut them loose last week I would be extremely disappointed in our Coach.

well, if he has a really good next 4-5 days you have the potential to be disappointed with him. If enough of these 4 stars want to come he will have to face that decision.

Better prepare yourself then because if we don't have some grade issues out of some of our current commits, one or two of them are going to be given some options.

Going alone? Maybe the guy just wants to party a little bit this weekend. That's what I'm telling myself at least.

That's what it looks like to me too. No parents involved, last OV, last weekend in recruiting, last chance as a recruit to get wined, dined... and probably the rest of it too.

I for one hope he does the right thing. Look I'm not so naive that I don't understand what these guys have to do. I mean they don't get do-overs and nobody is going to cut them any slack for losing "the right way", but you are old school enough to get this saying my grandaddy taught me. "Son there is a big difference between slipping in the mud, and wallowing in a pig sty"

We aren't cutting anyone.
Grade Issues will force us to Place a few guys.

Dunaway, Charmichael wont even sign a LOI with Us.

yep, heard that one. :)

I agree with you premise all the way. I just know that reality in this conference is you win with studs and for everyone you turn away the longer the road is back. Take too long and someone else will be driving instead of you.

lol..let me give this a try... my grandpaw told me that if you pass up a tim jernigan to keep a allen carson, pretty soon you will be working on a pig farm making up pig riddles.

Let Tiny enjoy himself. These kids only have this chance once in life. He will be a vol

Stop being a bunch of pre madonna valid victorians

I really hope Dooley learns something from this. I dont think they ever had the intention of screwing anybody over, because it sure does make this whole Vol for Life thing he is selling look like a crock of manure otherwise. Committments taken from lower rated guys should always be conditional from the beginning. That would help solve the integrity issue wouldn't it?

And then when Allen Carson becomes the next Vince Wilfork somewhere else you look like you got pig56it for brains.
