'11 TN OL/DL Antonio Richardson

After months and 726 posts (in this thread) it appears to be still pretty much the same -- UT vs UA battle that UT will most likely win. I think Bama may at this point go on and try to land a commit from another OL (most likely Xzavier Ward) and then finish off the 2011 OL class with Cyborg. JMHO.

Ward is going to be a good one...
:good!: I think so too. Great height, frame, feet & athleticism. You can't coach those things. Beef him up & coach him up and he should be a good one. Make him a little "mean & nasty" to go with that and he could be a great one. He can carry at least 40 lbs more of good weight without losing any quickness or athleticism. If he's slow to put that weight on he can be redshirted. I'd be real happy with that pickup if Bama can land him.

How do the insiders feel we are with him? Going off his Formspring answers its not very reassuring...

He will remind BAMA fans of a former Tide tackle that currently suits up in D.C.

Just saying, those rankings change every year. I would look more at consistency and output. Wharton and McIntire (UVA) are easily in the top, if not the definite top 2.

Anyways, we are in good shape with AR as of now.

Absolutely correct. ND has a good business school, but not elite. Wharton should be the top program. Many should be ahead of ND.

Naw he was talking about ya boy Mount Cody. He got placed on the unable to play list cause he reported out of shape.

I know he was and yes I know about TC, but he was quoting another poster which I think was referring to X Ward being like C Samuels who plays for the Redskins.

Lists are subjective but Business Week tends to know and evaluate B-Schools based on real world factors. The Mendoza School is held in very high regard. They just didn't pull them out of their arse.

Regardless, Whatron, or Sloan may be better. But for Mendoza is up there with McIntire, Haas, Ross, Carroll and Stern as one of the top undergraduate business programs.

The kid won't be going to a tier 2 business school.

this is def the guy who could turn the class...if we snag Richardson from AL and other schools he is interested in, it would be a major coup and recruiting victory over the great saban!

i see it differently. i feel like we should EXPECT to get this guy. He is the top in state prospect, so we should get him. He should be ours to lose. its not us snagging him from AL, its us keeping AL out of our backyard. you know?

Maybe that's how it "should" be, but realistically with the state of the two programs, it is definitely an accomplishment to beat out Alabama for our top in-state prospects. (See James Stone 2010)

I honestly wouldn't mind turning Jabriel, but I think that ship has sailed.

With the injury to M. Walls, I know that is a year long injury and would likely be back next year, BUT they still need depth at the DT position...They have only one DT verbal so could they possibly target Richardson as a DT prospect...He is a monster at DT 6 5 300+...kind of reminiscent of Big John and Big Al...I think with us concentrating on so many O-linemen this year which is also needed, I see us maybe at least giving this idea a thought?

Comments?

We need help on the Oline too. Some very respected people said that Tiny is the top OL prospect to come out of Tennessee since Micheal Oher. JMO, He is going to stay on the OL.
