'11 TN OL/DL Antonio Richardson

Alright guys...I believe this Les Miles debate has gone long enough...If you want to continue it, go over to the football board and discuss and debate...This is Antonio Richardson's recruitment page, not Les Miles good coach/bad coach page!!!

:lolabove:

You are going to be quite busy if you plan on stopping people from getting off topic in threads. Its pretty much the norm here and something people just have to get used to.

Its fine and understandable to get off topic in these threads but I mean the 2 or 3 pages is full of the Les Miles good coach/bad coach debate and was just stating if they want to continue the debate go start another topic and debate all you want...Its the norm to stay on the same topic! Thats whats normal!

I'm glad to see this kid is getting some big time offers.I remember watching him in the playoffs when he was a freshman at Mt Pleasant. The kid just towered (to the left in pic below)over all the the other lineman even then.

Lets hope he becomes a Vol!

Possibly the most asinine statement, EVER!!! :)

If you research LSU history, Miles' record is better than Saban. Which leads me to believe that the asininity of my statement
Has been greatly over-rated. Debate is great, but name calling sucks. GoVols!

As a fomer Mt. Pleasant Tiger myself, I couldnt agree more!!! I remember the very first game of the season that year, I went to actually see Marco Dailey (former 2 time Class A Mr. Football) and when Richardson stepped on the field, I asked my former basketball ball coach who that was and he told me and I was like WOW...That kid is a beast! Then after watching him play, I knew if he stayed with it, he would become a sensational athlete! I dont know him personally, but he seems like a very good kid as well! I would be estactic to see him in a Vols uniform!

Has this kid verbally expressed any interest in UT at all? Maybe I missed it but I havent seen anything. Hopefully he isnt one of those in-state kids who hates UT for some reason or another.

I just can't make myself understand how you can be from Tennessee and live in Tennessee and like Bama..

Cause they are winning. If his parents are not UT fans, then he isnt raised as a UT fan even though he lives in the state. I remember lots of kids in my HS that liked Bama, OSU or UF for no reason other than they were currently the team that was winning a lot. If we start winning 9-10 games every year again like we did in the 90's, I highly doubt we lose any in-state talent that we really want.

Yeah I think its going to be all recruiting war between us and Bama...I hope we can seal the deal!!!

"I really love SEC football and I like Georgia's program. This season wasn't their best year, but like any team they have some down times. Georgia is a SEC-powerhouse and college football powerhouse, so if they are interested in me, I am definitely interested in them. I am very thankful for the offer."

"I have a top five, but it is not in any order. Right now I am really riding this process out and I don't have a number one school or anything like that. I have a top 10 and a top 20 that I really like."

"We went to a game at Tennessee because they are the closest to us. It was their game against Kentucky. I met the old coaching staff. I am going to visit places like Alabama, LSU, Auburn and of course Georgia. I am also planning to visit USC and UCLA as well. LSU offered a while back and I just found it out too."

"The SEC is by the far best conference in college football from the top to the bottom. Even teams like Kentucky and Mississippi State are good and they don't win that many games. If you put a team like North Carolina or UCLA in the SEC, they wouldn't be able to win consistently at the level of even a Kentucky. The SEC teams bang heads and their style of football is on another level."

"I like Tennessee and they are a good school like any other school recruiting me. I don't feel any pressure to go there," he said. "It is easy to keep an open mind. I am not ruling out anybody at this point even Middle Tennessee State has a chance. I treat them with the same level of respect I treat the staff from USC, Tennessee or Alabama."

Again, this looks like this could be a heck of a recruiting battle for one of the top young men in the nation!!! I guess we will see how this plays out as I dont think a decision will come any time soon! Lets hope J.Chaney, D.Dooley, and/or C.Smith can come in there and recruit the heck out of him and he ends up in ORANGE AND WHITE!!!
