Palardy is 5-7 on FGs, lets not throw him under the bus just yet. But I would like to see them give this boy a look. He can BOOOOM it.

If he agreed to grayshirt this year, and then redshirted the next year, Palardy would be a senior in Sharp's redshirt freshman year. And Darr would be a junior that year.

Grayshirt means he would count against next year's class. Would we really use another scholly on a kicker.

I want this guy just for kickoffs alone! He can put it through the uprights on kickoffs.

For those that missed it, Palardy's high school coach posted on tos the other night that what everybody did not understand about Palardy's kicking this year is that he never recovered from the leg injury early in the season and that it progressively got worse during the season. He said that Palardy is a great kicker who was playing injured all year but with some rest in the off season we would all be very pleased with his performance next season.

Having watched a number of his highlight films during his recruitment, I believe Palardy will be outstanding once he has recovered from his leg injury.

As for Sharp, I would love it if he would gray-shirt or walk on, but have no idea how realistic that would be for him.

4 on scholarship right now, right? Palardy, Darr, Cunningham, and Lincoln? 2 will drop off and if you add a freshman that would just be 3, 1 less than now, right?

I know we have 4 on scholly right now and they were worth the pickups. However, if we sign a full class this year we will only have 25 spots next year. We don't need a kicker in that 25 IMO JMO tho.

If he has good enough grades maybe the staff can talk him into being a walk-on & using the HOPE scholarship his Freshmen & Sophomore years then by his Junior year we should have most of our needs field & could give him a football scholarship.

Me also, but I seen the same on MP last years highlight film and I know its a little further back but couldn't get it a yard or 3 into the end zone this year and that was all kickers, Kick returners was catching the ball between 5 and 10 yard line. If we get him I hope he can do it.

Palardy was injured all year. His kicking distance was drastically affected. His HS coach said that after healing we would see a different Palardy. Still wouldn't hurt to get a backup to push him and create a little competition.

I really think this cat is needed here. Hopefully he does decide to walk on here. I am not confident in out place kicking game at all, and he could be the added boost that aspect is missing. I hope Palardy was hurt, because that was a miserable year he suffered through.
