'11 TN ATH Willie Carmichael

we trust you'll help him make the right choice....

if he closes out his senior year strong, say honor roll, will that be enough to qualify for UT; or, is it pretty much a done deal that he'll end up in JUCO?

Worst case juco honestly I don't think he score high enough on the act to get eligible I think he can get a 18 cause he made a 17 last time but not a 21 or 22 to be eligible his first year

Please don't let the kid go anywhere, but UT. 2. I became a fan of Wille when Big Vol Daddy pushed on youtube and said he was a baller, and he wasn't lying. 3. Keep the faith let em him know that everybody's pulling fror him to get that 22 on the ACT and straight A's so he can get that tail in UT!

I've watched a lot of college football this year and we need this kid at UT. IMO he is already playing at a college level. He has a knack for finding the football and then taking it down the field when he gets it. Best of luck to him. GBO

This is supposed to be a forum where random people unleash their opinions at will. Nothing good can come from people who are emotionally attached to the prospects. It's just how it is...

I agree, but the last thing we should do is take advice from someone who is skipping class. :)

+1

Is this guy that good or is he another Bo Wallace?

Kid is that good. Separated himself from all other athletes on the field all season, through the playoffs/state championship, and in the senior all-star game last weekend. No one in two states has touched him yet.

I seriously doubt he gets an offer at this level.
.. and that is based upon .. what? I would like to know how you deduced this kid is not worthy of an offer from UT or other FBS school. I dont play or coach anymore but that kid looked to me like he had a level of talent other kids just didnt have.

Based on the fact that no fbs program has offered him and nsd is February. The guy will probably do well at somewhere like mtsu, but the best he could hope for at this level is to sign and place.

yes! your right and wrong 1. You are right, but wrong not because of his talent;his grades are at question and ACT needs to 2-3 points higher 2. No combines under his belt, thus no stars (diamond in the rough) 3. Shined in 2 allstar games, and its Documented that VT,UT,Kentucky are all waiting on his grades! What we seen on Youtube is they won the 4A statechampionship and he is a beast!

Why chosen. Class AA Mr. Football Back intercepted three passes, ran for two TDs and threw for two in Class 4A final. Had 2,500 yards and 30 TDs. Tennessee, MTSU interested.

Same story as may kids. Guy's teachers passed him because he could play ball. His parents didn't care (cause hopefully his ball skills could get them a house some day). Now, he is looking at JUCO or DII. I don't know this kid, but I would be suprised if most of this weren't true. Hello certain community. Let's teach our kids to push to obtain a career in something more feasable than rap or pro sports. Like I said, I don't know this kid, and apologize for any generalizations that aren't true. However, please, please, people (including others that live in trailer parks, but harbor the same ambitions) make your kids take learning seriously. I am at the age where the flash wears off ot the college and pro football players. I can only imagine what it is like once no one cares about them. Especially the a-holes like Roy Williams (who admits that he doesn't tip) this should also be a note to a certain segment of the population that doesn't tip. You have probably had your food spit in (not by me, but just sayin). Don't go out to eat if you can't tip 15%. You don't have to tip, but don't ***** when the places you like to eat shut down. In TN your waiter/ess makes 2$ an hour. If you don't tip, they make no money. They quit waiting, and then you have fewer choices. Don't go out if you can't tip 15%. You know who you are.

I usually tip somewhere between 13 and 20 percent. My question is, how do you get your food spit into because of a tip that obviously hasnt taken place yet? Or do waiters have such a great mind that they remember every customer? If your mind is that good, you should be doing something else for a living. Especially if you have a UT education.
