Kingsport Times News did a few weeks ago. Can't find the article, but this Greeneville team was more dominant in every way than the Tennessee High team was.

Look guys, the boy is 1 HELL of a ball player. He is a legit D-1 player. But he IMHO isn't a fit for what UT needs right now. He's another Rod Wilks. GREAT HS player, better than most he plays against. But what position does he play? And say what you want, he plays a lot of weak comp.

I think Willie has everything heading in the right direction...and he has a whole town pulling for him. He's a 4 sport athlete so we get to enjoy him on the court, the diamond and the track for the rest of this year...he could choose to play baseball at the next level.

He's got a 2.8 or 2.9. He's not in any danger of not qualifying. He realizes he should have took the initiative and did more early on, so he's working extra hard now.

This is what was posted in this thread about his grades. has anything changed at all! because if his grades are 2.8 or 2.9 all he needs is an 18 on the ACT and its a wrap!

Why exactly? People can tear the kid apart but family can't defend him? I see what you're saying to a degree. I get sick of the same back and forth by a few posters but I don't think this has turned into a Cody Robinson, Bo Wallace, or even DY type thread yet. I don't see some kids ending up as Vols but I don't have a problem with someone defending their kid as long as it isn't the same back and forth.

I was just letting people know about him. Im really not concerned or care if people say negative stuff about him its a message board state how you feel I just. Thought every one would like to know the truth cause Tennessee is recruiting him.

He is still trying make up his mind UT said they would sign him and he go to juco in Kansas for two years play one year and redshirt a year out there and have 3 years left at UT. William would have to hold up his end of the deal in the classroom or the offer would be no good.

That's what coach dooley recommend so that's where he has to go. The closest juco is 6 hours away at Georgia military college I wish he could go there but looks like he is going to Kansas
