Worley is as solid as it gets... I see us spreading the ball out alot more in the coming years. But if it looks like it does right now (add a running game), I'm cool with it.

The link to the press release saying Worley is National POY:
Gatorade - Press Center

He is in good company on the list of winners. Past winners include:

Matt Barkley
Lorenzo Booker
Peyton Manning
Emmit Smith

Oh and just for the fun of it...Not counting Worley, the past 9 winners, of Gatorade National POY have had an average (Rivals) star rating of 4.78 (7 5*'s, 2 4*'s) and have been ranked an average of 22.9 nationally :loco:

As far as the stars go, none of the last nine signed with the Vols, thats why they had, and kept, more stars.:loco:

Man no one on that list is worth a damn.....oh wait, a lot of successful college and NFL players. Bet they were all system guys too.

Of the 25 previous Gatorade POY winners, 12 play/played in the NFL. Five are still in college. One is Joe Mauer.

Great stat by him

I think a good comparison is Ken Dorsey, ex-Miami QB. Plenty of zip on short throws, not much after 20 yards but could get it out there if needed with a little wobble.

Congrats for Worley on the POY
