IIRC Drew Brees was poo-poo'ed for many issues (but mostly size) out of high school (why he went to Purdue) then out of college, and out of San Diego. But it's been his intelligence (football IQ) and leadership that's made him successful. That's hard to guage on a 17 year old...

He only holds the ball for a second, in a lot of his highlight videos from tonight...

System or not, he's making some sort of pre-snap read as to where he's going with it. That doesn't seem so bad to me.

If his team makes it to the state championship game, he'll have 3 more games this season. Let's say he gets three more games and hits his average of 29 completions/game and 370 yards/game over that stretch. That would give him 1,147 career completions (#1 all time) and 13,636 career passing yards (#6 all time). He'd probably also move up to #5 in career TD passes.

Gonna be so good in Chaney's system. Especially after a redshirt year and letting Bray do his thing for 3-4 years.

So Worley is a system QB!? Well watching our offense today he wont have problem fitting it. He will pick defenses apart just like Bray is doing.

Worley could be better than Bray IMO. Bray is going to be solid as hell here so what I just said is a big statement, but Chaney's offense is Worley's offense. He is used to the 40-50 attempts a game. He's been doing it for 4 years now and the fact that he's had the success that he's had in some of the best talent in America, South Carolina, is huge. Worley is going to own the spotlight.

Rivals has the Category rankings for QB's and the Top 5 Most Accurate QB's does not include Worley. He has legitimate knocks on lack of arm strength and mechanics. But numbers speak for themselves. His completion percentage is incredible. Accuracy is for real.
