no i dont disagree with the rankings Ihavent seen everyone play.
Ive seen Sousa, Worley, Ely, Driskel, Brissette, Lemay, Rivers, Randall, Miller, Walsh, Rudock & Bridgewater play. some more than others,

and IMO, Worley isnt at the top of the list of those guys, He isnt at the bottom either.

Right and I don't think any of those guys are head and shoulders above him. I think he has as much potential as anyone. His system hurts him. His stats are considered system-stats by most people.

Completely agree...I don't see Rivals putting him above a 5.7 though...due mainly to the fact that they tend to be very stubborn about their intial ratings...

Doesn't matter that the other 2 recruiting services consider him at least a top 30ish overall QB and a top 10-15 pro-style QB...by God, Rivals doesn't think he is and I think they'll be very reluctant to come off of that

Rivals has demonstrated a rather interesting stubborn streak about their rankings. Case in point: E. Hutson was ranked the #1 Center. Most major programs in the SEC evaluated him and passed for other recruits. However, Rivals analysts didn't let that deter them. They simply lowered him to #2. I'm all for confidence. But when Saban, Meyer, Dooley, etc. go after other candidates, I would take notice.

On the flip side Saban, Meyer, Kiffin, Dooley and many more offered Kerbyson, but Rivals gave him a small bump in the ratings in their last update. When asked if they took offers into consideration, the Rivals analysts said no.

Again, trusting in your system is a good thing when it is functioning well. But, when they also acknowledge a limited or lack of evaluations for some recruits or key areas, it is difficult to put much value in their assessments.

Yeah, chasing women really hurt the on-field performance of joe namath...20 bucks says bray starts at some point after the south carolina game

NW pulled it out. I'll be anxious to see Worley's stats. I one comment that was critical of the o-line play.

Impressive.

Yes, very impressive. Worley is doing everything he can to get that fourth star. If he continues on this pace, it will be very hard to deny him. He needs to continue to win, and to put up big numbers, but I think he also must keep the interceptions down.

Will that make him a better QB?

29-38 season high 365 yards passing.

FWIW, those were his stats last week. Yesterday he completed 27 of 35 passes for 362 yards and 4 TDs w/ no INTs.
FORT MILL | Falcons come close, but Northwestern rallies and seals win with late INT | The Herald - Rock Hill, SC

Season stats through 5 games: 127-183 (69.4%) for 1596 yards, 23 TDs, and 5 INTs.

Nationally, Worley is already 10th in the record books for career pass completions:

1. 1,103 J.R. House (Nitro, WV), 1995-98
2. 1,095 Ben Mauk (Kenton, OH), 1999-2002
3. 1,013 Chris Leak (Charlotte Independence, NC), 1999-2002
4. 1,006 Stefan Loucks (Little Rock Pulaski Academy, AR), 2003-06
5. 970 Drew Tate (Baytown Lee, TX), 1999-2002
6. 964 Brock Berlin (Shreveport Evangel Christian, LA), 1997-99
7. 895 Garrett Gilbert (Austin Lake Travis, TX), 2006-08
8. 872 Tim Couch (Hyden Leslie County, KY), 1992-95
9. 858 Rhett Lashlee (Springdale Shiloh Christian, AR), 1999-2001
10. 839 Justin Worley (Rock Hill Northwestern, SC) 2008-10

No, but it will help our class rankings, which in turn help our overall recruiting efforts both this year and next.

Not to mention the fact that the experience he is getting will most certainly help him be a better quarterback.
