Bellamy will sign with Clemson on NSD IMO, unless there is a coaching change then Tennessee & Clemson will be a battle until NSD. Bigelow is the same, I think he goes to Cal. If Morris loves his visit I'd expect him to want to flip to Tennessee soon afterwards.

Sounds like I need to make the 15 minute drive over to Bellamy's high school and convince him that Clemson will only ruin him. Just as a backup if Morris does not work out.

I'm hoping if we give a good showing and come out with a win vs. UNC it will go a long ways towards getting Morris.

thanks. video looks great. think he could be the speed to go with tom smith? with great hands out of the backfield, that could possibly get him on the field early

Thanks for all the great info JMoore. I know I probably speak for hundreds others on here when I say I really appreciate it. On a separate note do you think the outcome of our bowl game at UNC would play a major factor in his decision? And also I know he is blazing fast so would a comparison to Lamarcus Coker for his running style be accurate?

I think it could have some effect, not major though. & idk about Coker, I'm really not good at comparing players styles.

Romar is not only our "best shot" and what we want at RB, but frankly I would rather have him than Bigelow because of Bigelow's injury situation. At one time earlier this year, I thought we were in somewhat decent shape with Romar, but once he committed to UNC, I kind of lost track of him.

I was excited about him then, though, and I am once again excited that we may be back in the fight for him. He is a play maker and and the home run threat we have been looking for.

Competely agree with you on that. I am scared off by Bigelow's knee as well. Don't get me wrong I hope it heals and he has a great career, but it just makes me cautious now. I would rather have Morris for that reason and the other reason you stated..he is the type of RB we want. I know he is on the smaller side and lightning fast and we haven't really had anything close to that since Coker in '07. I hope he can maybe be a type of Coker type back for us on the field, but without all the :devilsmoke:. Actually I could care less, but just don't get caught and get kicked off the team.

To me he's more like a Demps than a Coker. Morris can really burn you on the speed sweep and can line up in a slot because of his recieving ability. Just the sheer speed like a Demps to create all sorts of match up problems. Very underated, IMO, maybe because he committed early.

Just spoke to one of his coaches, he is highly considering UT, he told me that Ramar knows every word to Rocky Top and he hears him singing it sometimes at practice. He told me that Ramar loves UT and just feels obligated to UNC, this kid can be ours, I'm trying to talk him into coming up for a un-official in January. I won't get to talk to him again until after they play for the state championship Saturday. This kid can be ours if the continue to pursue him. GO VOLS!!!

I would hate losing morris to UNC a lot less than Bellamy to Clemson... I can at least respect a kid who picks UNC. Good coaching and a fun atmosphere, even if it is a basketball school...
