Scout.com: Romar Morris Profile

"I hadn't had that much contact with the coaches from Tennessee," he said. "They just offered last week. I talked to their defensive back coach and he told me I had an offer."

"It was great because I know that Tennessee is a great program, and I know a lot about Tennessee football. There have been a lot of great players to come out of there."

"I'm probably going to go to Tennessee, Clemson, the Carolina camp and Georgia Tech. I might go to more too."

- Rivals

Morris picked up a Vol offer last week.

He also holds offers from UNC, USCjr, Clemson, Arkansas, GT, WVU, Maryland, NC St, Utah, Wake, etc.

I see Jay Graham is recruiting him at USClite. Graham is from Concord which is close to Salisbury. He might have the inside track on this kid.

When will he be visiting? I'm guessing he's not going to be up for the camp...

I like the looks of that speed. We need something like that in our back field.

He may be up for camp. The skills camp is still a couple weeks away.

Love the kid's stats. Oku was in the 4.4s this kid is in the low 4.3s big difference.

Morris' final 5 are Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

He is visiting UT in July.

Also says the Vols are recruiting him as RB and Slot Receiver.

He must really love Clemson to consider them knowing that he'll be playing behind Marlin Lane and Mike Bellamy for 4 years

Again, I like the speed. We don't have many speed guys that can line up at slot and take a few from the back field. I would like the diversity in our offense.

Clemson seems to be in it for a lot of the kids that we are in for. Who is their recruiting coordinator?

What camps or combines have you attended so far this year and what are your plans for this summer? I have been to UNC, Wake Forest, NC State, Georgia Tech, East Carolina, and Utah. I'm planning on going to Clemson, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Any other thoughts? I'm the back-to-back State champion in the 100 and 200m dash and broke the 2A State meet record in both events. I'm an All-American in track.

Made his final (3) along with NC & GT on Rivals article today. Not sure how we will fare against the home state school, but I really like that speed. Is he a take at this point or would we wait on Hayes?

On the UNC investigation:

"It's not affecting me at all, at least not now," Morris said. "I have talked with [North Carolina] coaches and all is good. I hope to make my decision in the next few weeks and North Carolina is right there with [Georgia Tech] and Tennessee."
