I'm not buying what he says about distance not being a factor.

I agree. It most certainly is a factor for mom, and mom's tend to have a large say in a recruit's final choice.

I think we have an excellent chance for Pagan, and look for Dooley and Chuck Smith to make a lot of headway with both Pagan and his family this weekend.

Clemson/UT/UF will be in the final 5. That may help eliminate a few.

I think you can count Florida out of it for Pagan. Remember this is the second time around for Pagan, who pretty much went through the same thing last June. After all that, Meyer went out of his way to tell Pagan that his scholarship was safe despite his injury and subsequent surgery.

Now, after all that, Pagan has officially decommitted -- I am pretty sure that Meyer has withdrawn the welcome mat, and wherever he commits, it will not be Florida.

Slive said that only works if he doesn't come to UT. His logic is unflappable.

Well, it might work for us if we were ranked #1 or #2 and inline to play in a huge BCS (Big Cash Settlement) National Championship game. Then the NCAA would work at light speed to make sure he was eligible to play therefore making sure everyone gets a PAY DAY...

Disagree, if that were the case he would still be committed to the Gators.

I'm just stating why the Gators will still be in his top 5. Not making a case that they still have a legit chance of keeping him.

Chick is "looking around" but how many think he will go anywhere else? I'm saying out of respect, he'll keep them in the line-up. Not really comparable, but it was off the top of my head. Pagan is definitely looking around, but they'll be mentioned simply because of family ties.

"I am taking my first official visit to Georgia the weekend of December 10th-11th. I like coach Grantham and his system. I like who he would utilize me and I like coach Garner and his coaching style. I have a good relationship with coach Richt. Many current Bulldog recruits have been recruiting me to Athens. I enjoy Athens and appreciate the rich football tradition and history they have. I am excited to see how the new Georgia facilities are shaping up."

lets hope. we need to get this stud. either way, i dont really understand why he has an OV scheduled for UF. just out of courtesy?

Wants to give UF time to hire a new DL coach...also in his latest interview said that distance is not a big of a factor in the process. I think he's only visiting UF out of respect for Meyer and his father's relationship with the program

"I've talked with my mom about that. I wouldn't say it's a major, major factor because I'd get home regardless and my mom would come see me play," he said Tuesday morning. "It's there, but it's not the biggest deal in the long run.

"Right now everything is just starting all over again. I think I missed a lot of this when I was committed to Florida. Now, I just want to look at everything that I missed."

might end up going back to florida after playing the recruiting game a little bit. hmmmm cant wait to see how this pans out.

It might take him up until National Signing Day to look at everything he's missed. He's got a hell of a lot to see... along the Tennessee River. :)

not sure what he missed with ALL the visits he's taken while committed to UF. Guess he wants free flights and more meals.

+1 I could see that happening. It will be pretty interesting. Hopefully he's all vol come NSD.

Easy with that kind of talk.
I know it hurts, but don't worry; Urban always has the ace in the hole in the form of a fake heart attack. Redd Foxx taught him well.
