I don't mind trashing a fellow poster but why trash a kid that his dream is to play in orange and white?I am from Warren Co. and think we are better off letting him go to Duke but still dont think we should trash him.

Do u think Cody is good enough to play at UT?

I've not been impressed but one player can't do everything on his own.My son played jr pro this year and we have 13yr old kids coming up that are already at least 6' tall and 285lbs.so it will be good in a few years here.

No my son could careless the sizes were told to me.I am talking about the blue pioneers.Thats what I was told I know they look big for thier age.

Does anybody know how well Pagan is doing with his knee?? Superb talent but I tend to think of Arthur Jeffery!! Just curious about the young man's progression in recovery..

Also what about a prompt in home visit on the heels of his decommitment from UF? Anyone know if Chuck Smith or someone else is looking to go into his home SOON?

My understanding is that he is progressing well after his surgery and that the injury was not as bad as first feared.

Still, with any knee injury you can only wait until it heals before you know what the end result will be. It is not only the physical injury itself, but oftentimes there is a psychological component as well. Toney Williams (RB) and Savion Frazier (LB) are probably examples of the psychological aspect of the injury being a problem.

75, what about:

Greg Clark 6-3, 300, Fr. (prob. R/S this year)
Joseph Ayres 6-3, 262, Fr. (played some this year)
Stephen Fowlkes 6-5, 253, So. (played very little)

If Clark can play, Malik can be moved back to DE next year? And Ayres gives us more depth.

Clark wont play any meaningful snaps and he probably never will unless his work ethic does a complete 180.

I could see them starting him as an example of what work ethic brings but he will not play starter minutes I agree. He will play some though. Hughes may never be back remember. Williams is gone.

Pretty interesting discussion going on TOS.

It revolves around the idea that maybe Pagan could be a grayshirt for us in this signing class. That would allow us to sign one more recruit and one that could contribute next year.

Before everyone freaks out and says NO WAY Pagan would do that, understand how this would work. Basically Pagan would sign with the Vols in Feb 2011. He would Grayshirt the fall of 2011 (not even enroll in school so he wouldn't be stuck with a ton of tuition bills) and then enroll in Jan of 2012 on Scholarship. That way he would save his redshirt season just incase he needed it down the line and it opens up another spot for TN.

What do you think? Possible?

I don't see this as a possibility at all

He will get a scholarship somewhere else

I don't know his family situation at all..but not many families will go this route.
