'11 MI WR DeAnthony Arnett - UT Commit

Keep it up, DeAnthony! Haha. Enjoy the process. Just hope you can keep this level of entertainment on the field wearing the Big Orange!

My favorite quote of the night: "To he** with Central Michigan. To he** with em!" after he'd committed to them an hour before. :lolabove:

Since he obviously comes to VolNation, here is my open letter to DeAnthony -

Awesome job tonight! You've kept us all entertained and on the edges of our seats. You obviously enjoy being a star on the big stage, so you need to be playing your college ball in the SEC. The SEC is where the elite college football players are, and it's the conference that the whole country watches. This is where the past 4 national champions have come from, and this is the conference that puts the most players in the NFL.

Before you make your decision, you need to go back and watch Tyler Bray's performance last week. He was slinging the ball all over the field, putting it right on our receivers' hands, and hitting 'em in stride. This is the guy that's going to lead our offense for the next 3 years. Over 300 yards passing and 5 passing TDs in the first half! THAT IS THE FUTURE OF UT FOOTBALL! With Tyler throwing you the ball, you are going to be a highlight machine in our offense. Not to mention, you're going to have Coach Baggett getting you ready for the NFL, just like all the other NFL receivers he's worked with.

Since you read every school's message boards, you must know how much better and more passionate our fans are than every other schools' fans. There are over 37,000 users on the VolNation boards alone, and there will be over 100,000 fans in Neyland Stadium every Saturday screaming their heads off. The entire state will be watching you and cheering for you when you get into the checkerboard endzones. You can't find a school where the fans will cheer for you harder during your college career.

Looking forward to seeing you in Orange in 2011!

If I were DeAnthony I would make fun of you.

Unless he chooses USC, I would be a fan of him wherever he goes. He is a smart kid, a great athlete, and has a chance to be a great player, and his personality from what I hear from those who've met him is second to none. He is going to be great wherever he goes, I'm just hoping he comes to the University of Tennessee where he will be coached by one of the best WR coaches and be apart of a WR corps that will be 2nd to none in the nation with Arnett, Hunter, and Rogers with Tyler Bray slinging it to him.

Great kid that has a bright future.

That was kind of weird. :ermm:

Maybe he told Simms and Bray he was going to be poking some fun in his videos. I really doubt they would be offended by it. I am pretty sure they both know they are not Peyton Manning.

Once again, I don't know how many times I have to say it.

Arnett's been a Vol in Baggett's eyes since his visit Oregon weekend.

I will be shocked if we don't get the commitment tonight.
