Hold on now cowboy, you counting on 2 players being solid in CFB before they even step foot on campus. Dont get your hopes up just yet. Yes I am excited too. JJames is one of the better freshman OL we have had at UT, and he is still struggling at times. Just keep that in mind.

And the news that Hubbs and company keep pushing our position with Arnett is amazing. Our WR core is very very promising.

I will hold by my statement on Arnett and Crowder. Arnett would come in and be dominant in the slot position for us for the next 4 years. He is the perfect guy to put in the slot with Hunter and Rogers on the outside.

Arnett: In great position: 4 star
Christian Harris: Has dominated GA 5A football in his senior season.
Devrin Young: Beast at KR/PR, something we desperately need.
Vincent Dallas: Pure speed... slot WR, KR/PR
Justin Coleman: Very good CB with good speed
Tino Thomas: Built like a safety with the speed of a corner.
Jordan Williams: The definition of a physical freak. Perfect at DE/OLB.
Carson- dominating this year: Looks to be a good nose tackle prospect.
Saulsberry: Looks to be a good DE fit in a 3-4.
Loften: 4 star

This year's class is going to provide some great depth to an already great class from last year. I haven't even mention Crump, Propst, or Sapp who Dooley has been high on since they've gotten on campus.

People need to give it time. We are going to be in great shape. Also, this staff will be a force on the trail next year. Once Dooley, Smith, Wilcox, etc... start developing relationships they will be able to close on guys whether some want to believe it or not.

The news on Arnett seems really promising. I sure hope we land him on NSD. I hope he does not end up a Jeff Luc 2.0. I am trying to temper my expectations so I do not get as disappointed if he does in fact select MSU. Say we do not land him, who does the staff go after? Also, thanks to all with the updates! Go Vols!

I agree, we have talent in some areas on the team now we just to bring the level of talent up on the rest of the team to match.

Perfect pro style receiver. His route running ability will make him almost uncoverable & that's exactly why Baggett considers him a must get.

So in your opinin, is Arnett a SEC caliber player or does he belong in the WAC or Sunbelt?

If we don't get a guy we really like, we may not take another WR. The top targets would be Watkins and a bunch of committed guys like Brassell, Landry, Sylve, Woodson, and Collins.

LV, who do you like better out of Arnett and Dallas?

Call me crazy but I think Dallas may end up being the better WR.

Not LV, but Dallas has the potential to be a great WR. However, Arnett can come in right away and produce at a high level. I definitely love the potential of Dallas though because the sky truly is the limit for his athleticism.
