'11 MI WR DeAnthony Arnett - UT Commit

Agree with this.

If he announced today, he would be a Vol.

It just seems everything is stacked against us w/ this kid...

1. In state vs. out of state
2. Good team vs. currently bad team
3. Proven coach against unproven.

Did his mom/parents ever make it here? If not I don't see how he comes here.

Yes, his mom was here for his visit at the end of the summer and absolutely loved it. She is huge on Dooley.

Okay cool didn't remember that thanks. Him visiting Cal makes it seem staying in state is a high priority. We just cant get thumped this week and the next. We have to play competetive

But here's what we have going for us:

1. We have prettier uniforms.
2. Southern Women
3. Early Playing Time.

UT will not stay down... MSU will NOT stay up.

I actually wish they could. It would help keep OSU and Michigan out of the NC.

I know this was posted already but Hubbs continues to say we are in great shape with Arnett, he has to know something just has too.

Paul Fortenberry on VQ just said he likes where Tennessee stand with Arnett & that Arnett could be making a decision before Christmas.

i havent been following recruiting quite as much but things seem to be looking like our recruiting class could really start blowin up. havent really seen much buzz until now. is this a safe assumption to have?

From what I am hearing is that his relationship with Baggett is what has him leaning the Vols way and he is trying to publicly lean towards MSU so he doesn't get bashed if he went public to TN.

I would be suprised if he didn't end up at TN, but I will be suprised if he comes out and says that UT leads until the day he commits.

This would be a tremendous pickup. The Michigan State guys on all their boards think he's a lock for them, but it would make sense for him to do exactly what Ericvol said a few posts up if he is going to end up out of state.
