With our dwindling supply of scholarships and our still unfilled needs, I am inclined to think we will take just one more receiver (Young needs to be counted as a slot man) and I believe we prefer Dallas over Arnett, regardless of the stars.

Just my opinion, but that would be my choice also.

After watching Dallas more closely I feel he's the better player by far for our system. He's physically ready to come in and contribute. Also he's better with the ball in his hands. Just a better playmaker to me.

The staff still wants to take 2 WR's. Of course Arnett & Dallas are the top 2 choices, everything points to Dallas being a Vol & were still very much in it with Arnett.

Might be a little harder to get seeing how Mich. ST has been playing. They look pretty good. It depends on if he wants to stay closer to home.

Arnett and Dallas would be a nice duo to get. I think it looks like Dallas will end up at UT. With the way MSU is playing, Arnett might be inclined to stay at home. I still think UT is in the thick of things bc of coach Baggett.

I'm almost never a negavol, but so far this year, that group has 3 great catches (1 by Hunter against Oregon, 1 by Z Rogers against UAB, and 1 by Hunter against LSU). Very solid group, no doubt - but not exactly sick.

When they're more mature and SEC ready they will be absolutely sick.

That catch Hunter made yesterday reminded me of some the greats we had back in the 90's. Excited to watch this guy throughout his time here at UT

well they ARE still freshman, and our quarterback isn't really getting the protection he needs to chunk it down field. as these kids get game experience, things will start to change..

IMO, MSU is out in front slightly because of the way they have been playing. I still think UT has a chance to land Arnett but the lure of staying close to home & playing for an up coming program might win out in the end.

But with the chance of an official visit & having Coach Bagget on our side I wouldnt rule out UT at this point.

Even so, who cares about "great catches".... production from great route running and yac is what counts.

I'd love to have Dallas and Arnett but to be honest if we lose out on Arnett and land another recruit at another position of need like DT, I'll be pleased. I just think we have a lot bigger needs than WR right now.

We are actually really thin there with Jones and Moore gone and Meline and Teague at DB.

I think Meline will be moved back...but regardless we still need 2 in this class...and prefereably 2 that fit the slot receiver mold...in a perfect world it would be Arnett and Dallas

Its not the receivers its the line not giving Simms enough time to throw to them. In due time though.

Yea we def need to add 2 WR's in this class & hopefully they are both slot recievers. We have the size with Hunter, DaRick, & Milton.
