mmm..Have you seen Kasen Williams film yet?..I'd say he is for sure number 1 reciever for '11..Maybe Heaps made him look better than he is, but very impressive..

Williams has the height and the frame that is more prototypical of a wideout. He'll for sure be ranked ahead of Landry unless Landry grows several inches this year.

Kid is a beast. Would be really nice to add him to that '11 class. Definitely a hot pursuit for Wilson since they already have a good relationship.

I wouldn't exactly call him a "beast" per se. But the kid can ball. Heavy lean to LSU at this point, but things can change.

"They certainly moved up," Landry said. "LSU was one and no one was really close. Tennessee is right behind LSU now. I like how they took care of us and it's a great program to be a part of."

"He and I have a great relationship," Landry remarked about his friendship with Vol assistant Frank Wilson. "We talk quite a bit and every time we talk it's like a father/son type of relationship. I've learned a lot from him. He's a great coach and a great person."

Per Rivals... There seems to be a common theme in alot of LA recruits these days- VOLS, BITCH!!!

Second place is the first loser

A lot of time until 2011. This kid is amazing and will be a top recruit at WR for his class.

As far as Kasen Williams? I'm thinking he goes to BYU

Did you miss the "right behind LSU" part? 2nd place doesn't matter in recruiting! :)

No I saw it. When you consider the kid is from LA and grew up loving LSU, I would say that "right behind LSU" is a very good place to be in with 2 years left in his recruitment. Especially when he is a WR and has a "father/son" relationship with the Vols WR coach who just happens to be from LA himself...

We're at least going to make it very difficult for him to tell us "no."

He also had a Purple shirt and Gold shorts. That spoke volumes. But, I agree 2nd isn't a bad place right now.

that's true. every time I watch highlights on a Louisiana prospect there is always at least two teams in the reel wearing LSU's colors.

Top 3 in Louisiana next year could be top 10 in the nation. :)

ive ben saying it for a while, louisana is loaded with talent, i would put the talent down there up against the talent in florida, i normaly pull for LSU when they cant have any negitave effect on UT, i have a good friend that works close to the program down their.
i do hope we keep stealing your talent though :) i think my current NCAA09 roster has 19 players from louisana.

I wonder if Landry has received an offer already, considering that he was possibly the best overall WR at our camp.

new Tiger Bait article says that he wants to see every LSU game in Baton Rouge this year, so I'm not holding my breath.

I like the quote from him saying the atmosphere and fans were crazy.

I would sure hope so considering they were playing the number one team in the country.

He needs to watch Tennessee play against a crappy team like Kentucky. I bet the atmosphere is similar as LSU playing the #1. :p

If this guy isn't the number 1 WR in the country for next yr I would hate to face anyone rated ahead of him....seems like a top 10 player overall for sure( I would say top 5 by his ability alone but I haven't really looked at next yrs class to compare)

who is the QB? He is intriguing..can really sling it..left handed Rohan Davey...not sure he would fit our system but looks like quite an athlete himself for someone to snatch up
