playing at Hargrave Military this year.

read on TOS that we had a coach visiting him recently

n Derrick Milton, 5-11, 191, NR, Pineville, La., (Hargrave Military Academy)

The Skinny: On the same weekend UT caught Huggins in action, another coach was watching Milton. Schools such as LSU, Mississippi State and North Carolina also are in the hunt.

Man sounds to me like we may miss on a few big backs, otherwise we wouldnt be visiting these guys. Correct me if im wrong.

A UT coach went and seem him at the same time one went to watch Savon Huggins. Just keeping the options open

Per his coach back in the summer: "At running back, we have true senior Derrick Milton who has offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Memphis. I think this kid will play in the Army All-American Bowl, he's that good."

I don't think so necessarily. I think Bellamy would be a miracle, but we have a chance with Hill.

Milton was probably offered knowing that it's not commitable unless we miss on these other guys.

I havnt heard much about him either but his coach at Hargrave said that he is good enough to play in any All-American game

It probably doesn't hurt to at least show interest, it may help land someone in the future if you have a good relationship with the coaches.

Jim Chaney is supposed to be by Hargrave today to see him for the second time. He's known Dooley since his sophomore year of high school and really respects Dooley. He's scheduled to visit Jan. 28. We'll have the story later today

"I've been knowing those guys since they were at Louisiana Tech. I had went up to their camp the summer after my sophomore year and I did really good up there. Coach Dooley, he told me that if he goes somewhere or what-not, I'm going to always have a place. So, they came with an offer and he kept his word. So, I find that really trustworthy so that's good," Milton said.

Going to visit us on the 28th, North Carolina on Jan. 14 and Mississippi State on Jan. 21.
