Some that think that are incorrect. I was extremely disappointed in Kiffin and Os DL haul.

What does John B and his cookie have to do with Mickey? Brown was a JUCO who couldn't pass enough classes in the summer at UT to qualify. Mickey is a HS prospect that has a qualifying test score with a possibility in raising his core GPA and make it in.

Gotcha. I think Mickey would be a huge help at DT if he qualifies. From what I've read a lot of schools have been caught off guard by him b/c they didn't think he had a chance to qualify. Now it looks like a possibility.

It is possible that the staff has already discussed the slim chance of a greyshirt with some of the earlier low rated commits. IDK but it wouldn't surprise me.

Nice avatar. What a "MIKE"! We'll be fine (LB) if Dawson and Johnson can bring (the Vols) leadership and raw, focused aggression like AW! When Al spoke everyone listened! When Al hit a player everyone felt it!

Realistically, don't we always surprisingly lose a player or 2, while gaining others nobody thought we'd land? If Mickey, Wright, Carson, etc all wanna come. We'll find room. Carson is a need. Our trenches need to continue to gain depth and strength. I'd take all willing to join in.

I agree we need bodies at DT and Carson could play significant min. in the future. But at the moment I see nobody decommitting actually, so I don't see how we could get him in w/o either dropping Carson or if he goes juco/prep.

I honestly think it's just too late in the process for a coaching staff to be shedding recruits who have been committed as long as Carson has. It screws them over big time. Can't see a staff that preaches character doing something that contradicts that message. Kiffin might do it, but I don't see CDD doing so.
