'11 KY LB Lamar Dawson (USC)

Here are the 2 posts from Hubbs. The first one is pretty cut and dry and the 2nd one is all over the place.

"Tennessee, Southern Cal, and Central Florida are the top 3 for Dawson, that's optimistic with Southern Cal being so far from home. I don't see him at Central Florida."

"I'm not confident that he's going to be a Vol. I have just been led to believe that he's not going to Kentucky and I think distance is an issue with USC and Oregon.

But I could be completely wrong. He's played very coy and quiet with everything."

What the hell. I guess he's just not going to school then?

Isn't going to any of his top 3. UK is out. Oregon and USC are too far.

After re-reading the 2nd one, it seems like he is trying to say he is guessing that he will be a Vol cuz he isn't going to UK, Oregon, or USC.

Which one is more recent? I haven't seen the 2nd one. Sometimes I think Hubbs likes to play it safe to maintain his cred. I think he believes he will be a Vol in the end.

^ I think this is what he means.

The 2nd is more recent by like 45 mins or something.

I too believe Hubbs thinks he will be a Vol but doesn't wanna make a prediction like that.

its easy to say he's not gonna be going to any other teams, but when you come out and say he's gonna be a vol, thats putting yourself out on a limb. he's scared to take the chance

Brent has consistently said he doesn't see him going to Kentucky. rarely would I disagree with Brent but this feels like Kentucky to me.. If he shows up here the weekend of the 28th I like our chances much better. Just not sure he makes the trip.

Everything I've heard for months leads me to believe there's no way he goes to UK. I keep hearing he wants to leave the state but doesn't want to go too far from home. Oregon and USC are out because of the distance issue. I can't realistically see him picking UCF. I think he ends up a Vol. He likes the coaching staff, tradition, early playing time, fact that it's not far from home etc.
