Dawson, for sure. But I really would like Paul also.

Both together would be wonderful, but numbers are a problem. If Paul committed first, we would still take Dawson. But if Dawson committed first, I am not sure we would take Paul -- not because of lack of need or want, but just simply because the numbers will not permit it.

Numbers be damned, Tennessee would have to take both.

The LB depth is really bad at Tennessee.

If LD was going to UK he would have committed by now I think. The longer he waits the less likely it will be UK. I mean he lives about 45 minutes from the school, knows most of the coaching staff, and the city. If that is where he really wanted to go I think he would have announced it by now. I think he is waiting until as late as possible to prevent the backlash he will receive from picking another school. I hope it us but it is hard to tell. I would say UK is all but out at this point unless he announces soon.

It's hard to tell. Dawson is rated higher but he's also playing his high school ball in Kentucky. Paul might get the edge just because he's playing in Florida because of the level of competition. Regardless, I would like to have either one of them.

There is no chance in hell they would turn either guy away. Huge upgrades in talent and athleticism at a unit that needs it.

i don't believe it. The staff wouldn't be wasting that much effort on a recruit they didn't want

I just saw where we are the last visit for Dawson which could work out very well for us, unless of course he commits before then..... Also I was wondering if he projected to play inside or outside linebacker for us because I saw where he was listed as an inside backer but that would put us at 3 inside guys in this class so I just assumed he would be the most logical to move to the outside with his athleticism.....

We need all the LB'S that we can get. By far our weakest spot next year.

A.J. can probably play all the spots.

Harris is a MLB but prolly will just be a career special teamer.

Paul I think is an OLB all the way. Very explosive

Thanks... I meant Dawson's last visit I got crossed up.....Maitland do you think we will take 3 MLBs or do you think Johnson slides to DE...... I know we need alot of help at LB I just thought one of them would move outside if they keep Johnson at MLB...

No way A.J. could play Will. Harris could be SLB.

Harris a special teamer? That's a stupid comment considering you haven't seen any of these guys play a down of cfb yet. Askew was our highest rated lb recruit as of late and he can't even sniff the field.

I am not sure what Dooley has listed on his recruiting board as far as recruiting priorities/by position and which ones are silent even makes this more of a wild guess.

Not sure what you think is funny, do you really see him as a starting LB. If we get AJ, Dawson, and Paul in this class he wont ever start. Not to mention the staff is high on Propst and Crump. I'm not saying Harris is a bad player but if you expect him to start multiple years on Defense I just dont see it happening.
