Can someone please write him a letter telling him how much we will adore him but if he goes anywhere but UT, we will still love him because we believe in him and his abilities?
I think I still have the template that was in the KNS. Maybe Jimmy can talk to David who can talk to his ...

the biggest P.O.S. D.B. in tennessee vols history.... meet Aaron Douglas. (aside from a coach)

Aaron has called our football offices several times in the last couple of months. That being said, Douglas will not be given the opportunity to return to Tennessee. The coaches are fully aware of his history.

Go Vols!

Does it matter? He posts simple factual statements every now and then. Usually to clarify rumors.

Why not? Sure I don't like how he left but if he has learned his lesson and matured why not welcome a talent like Aaron back?

Are you kidding me? No way in hell you let a kid like that back after he bailed on the very same players he'd be playing with next year. Not only that, but the way his parents handled everything publicly was disgraceful. The further from Knoxville all of them are, the better off Tennessee is.

Completely agree, his parents and him turned their backs on the University. I personally don't want that scumbag at UTK.

Wow the hate by some posters just blows my mind! DD would be foolish not to take AD back if (big if) he has fixed his problems and only the staff can evaluate that. The kid can play ball and should not be exiled for making a bad mistake and using poor judgment. He didn't commit a crime remember..

Some of you wanting him back have absolutely no concept or idea of how important team chemistry really is to a football program. This would be disastrous for chemistry.

Yes, and he will get his second chance...it tugs on my heart strings, truly. But come on man, damn near 20 years old is certainly old enough to understand that if you are one of the lucky few in this world to get a second chance, it isn't always served up on your own terms. Tennessee doesn't owe him jack.
