Any word on when Couch is supposed to announce? I thought I remembered seeing something about him committing late this month / early December. From some of the comments above, it seems like his mind is made up.

He said dec 1st..but then said it could be earlier.

I expect him to be committed by Sunday...at least privately.

He stated Dec. 1st a few weeks ago but earlier this week he said that he could very well committ sooner than that and one of the next few tweets was he couldn't wait to get to Knoxville and how UT is on top. He could very well committ this weekend.

That would be great. May be a long-shot, but if we picked up Arnett and Couch both in the next week or so, it would really change the attitude (at least on this board) about recruiting. Couple that with a guy (or 2-3) picking up a 4th star, and a win over Ole Miss and this place would be ready to explode.

Hey USCjr ever think of the fact that we're UT and we will be back on top when your USC"jr" and you're a never been. If we had any type of depth this year our record would be a lot different and you have all the depth in the world and can barely hang on with us and then get demolished the next week by Arkansas?.. Maybe that's what he saw...

The one thing I think Dooley does differently from previous coaches when it comes to recruiting is he makes sure a kid is committed before they go public with it. He makes sure they have visited with him, the school, the team, and that he has spent time with them and their family.

Now this might not be the case with every single recruit, but I think it is the majority. And I like it.

A mod on InsideTennessee.com said one of the visitors for this weekend's game told him if the visit went well he would commit.

Anyone wanna bet it's NOT Mo Couch?
