I'm sorry but if early PT is what he wants from the get go, UF is not the place he wants to go. Also, with the shake up they've had down there this year with all that talent and the fact that multiple freshman have straight up come out and said that they regret their decision, I wouldn't do it if I were him.

I honestly feel like Dooley lets these kids make their committment public when he is ready for them to do it. Couch let it slip when he committed and was supposed to be a silent. Rumor is we are sitting on 3 or 4 silents.

Ah! I hate silent commit rumors!

That said, I don't think Dooley purposely tells the kids to keep it quiet. I just don't think he "suggests" they time & leak things in ways that Kiffin did (I think Kiffin liked to create drama & have timing to his commits). That's not what I think Dooley does. Dooley just keeps things quiet cause he's a businesslike man. The recruits, if nothing else, are implored to take their time, look around, see that UT is where they feel comfortable & excited about, so that when they do commit, they are 100% Orange.

JMO about the way he handles things.

JUCO DT Maurice Couch is officially visiting Tennessee this weekend, and at this point I would be extremely surprised if he did not ultimately head to Knoxville. I believe this weekend’s visit is likely the final straw in the recruitment once Couch meets with Tennessee’s staff. He has often pointed out how badly Tennessee needs defensive tackles, but there’s more to it than just that in his decision.

I read on Cocky talk whenever he committed then decommitted to us that they all "believe" that we must be paying him or doing something shady.

They are just trying to come up with excuses...:no:

There is more to it than just PT. There's the simple fact that we're still UT and they're still South Carolina. They'll never ever consistently dance with the big boys - they'll polish their turd of a program up enough to have a competitive squad every now and then, but at the end of the day they're still a joke. Always have been and always will be.

Why would Florida be recruiting him now? Unless there is truth to the rumors of some not so happy Freshmen looking at transferring at the end of the season?
