'11 JUCO DT Maurice Couch - UT Commit

And the actual person for whom Prozac was intended for speaks! Go load up on some SSRI's and come back in about 2-4 weeks you crotchety and miserable individual...

Yeah but O works for Kiffin. Kiffin is the greatest ever. Therefore if USC wants a recruit... UT should just back out of the way. It isn't possible that a kid would choose a class act with a proven track record coaching pros over a guy with "questionable" ethics and whose claim to fame is coaching guys who already had incredible talent into the draft.

If the kid can't see through O's schtick then he isn't the kind of kid UT needs right now anyway. They are trying to change a culture as well as build a talent base.

Sure but he was a jackal when we had him too; many were just able to overlook it

O is like Pigpen from Peanuts... there's a cloud and stench that follows him wherever he goes. Hopefully none of the behind the scenes stuff he did at UT will ever come back to haunt the Vols.

That's part of being a fan. I think a lot of the hatred comes from that incident though.

Agreed; I never liked him but thought he was a great recruiter. Lost any respect I had for him (which wasn't much) when he called our recruits and then lied about it.

Coach O was a cheater long before he got to UT & he def cheated while he was here, I'm honestly just glad they all left before the NCAA really came down on them.

I'm friends with a family that is Ole Miss boosters. They said if they ever found out what Orgeron did while at Ole Miss then Ole Miss would've gotten the closest thing there is to a death penalty. They said they loved how he recruited because he did it in such a way that it was virtually impossible to catch him (using 3rd parties to transfer money and "gifts" that had no connection to Ole Miss). I don't know how true it is, but they said that it is rampant among the SEC and especially at Auburn right now.

, O has been well known for that. Almost everywhere he has been this "rumor" about him doing stuff like that has came up.

The thing that's really bad is that it's just a part of recruiting now days, If your not cheating or bending the rules a little your going to be left behind.

This man said that Auburn is being looked at heavily by the NCAA right now and said it's not been talked about kinda like no one knew about the investigation at UT until the NCAA sent a letter of inquiry that gets made public.

I've heard that too.

Hate to say it, but some of the stories that were on the Hill about Trooper doesn't surprise me one bit.

Visits us Nov. 12. Announces decision Dec. 1. Visits USCjr after that date. Has yet to decide on a USC visit. Couch is going to look damn good in orange ;).

I'll believe he's ready to make his final decision when the ink dries on his LOI. He changes his mind every time I change my socks.

Yeah, you have to wonder which state it is. There are 8 states next to Tennessee.
