Is he still announcing the first of Dec? I'm not that worried if it is us against SCar because he saw that program at their highest point against Bama and committed to us afterwards. Unless USC does something illegal to sway him, I think we have him locked up barring a major screw up on his visit.

I'm considering USC now," Couch said. "I really like Monte Kiffin and his work down there. I also have a very strong relationship with coach (Ed) Orgeron and I enjoy talking to him."

Another development in his recruitment is his decision to postpone his announcement, which was originally scheduled for Dec. 1.

"I've decided to wait until signing day," he said. "Things are just getting too crazy and I need to take my time."

He said Tennessee is his current leader for his signature.

Couch will visit Tennessee on Nov. 12. He said he wants to take a visit to Southern California in November, but could be as late as December or January. During Christmas break he said he will try to get to the South Carolina campus while he is at home for an unofficial visit.

Coach O doin work, damn I miss those days when you weren't ever out of it til NSD. I don't blame Couch for waiting around, hes gotta make sure hes 100% committed. I still think after he visits he will still commit a few days later.

Quick question, I know we were Couch's 1st offer, was it from this staff or the old one?
