'11 JUCO DT Maurice Couch - UT Commit

This guy is going to look GREAT in Orange...Smith will have him playing on Sundays after his SEC dominance.

I have a bad feeling he did not.commit cause he is waiting on fl to offer. He is from fl and that scares me. Ow well better than him committing then decomitting again. I still think we are the clear leader and fl is the only team we have to worry about.

We have nothing to worry about, not even Florida. Relax.

Guys some of you are setting is up for total letdown if he does not commit to us on December 1st. We have really struck out on Defensive Tackles the past few years, who we thought we had locked up. Couch is not committing until December 1st, which Couch just reiterated to the media. We have a great chance to land him, but nothing is certain until he actually signs with us, so please stop saying he is locked up, especially with South Carolina in the championship game.

Per Terry Fair this morning:

Maurice Couch, Juco D-lineman says Vols are the leader for his services. Says UT has everything he's looking for!

Good news. It amazes me how so many "fans" hate on the team and what the school has to offer recruits. I take the kid for his word. We ARE his clear cut leader. V, B.

Florida loses a lot of their appeal when they are not winning Championships and they're coach's return is in question. They appear (to ma at least) on they're way down while we appear to have bottomed out and are on the rise with the sky as the limit.

via twitter "I had the best time of my life, I had a chat with coach Dooley it all went well,n now im on my way back to Kansas"

"It went real well. Everything I was looking for in a school, they pretty much had it here. On the football aspect, the supporting staff, the academics, it was all-around excellent,"

Couch, who told VolQuest.com that he won't take any other visits, talked candidly about his close-knit relationship with the entire Tennessee coaching staff.

"Oh man, they're all great. They're big on family," said Couch, spotted in the recruiting section inside Neyland Stadium cheering during the Vols' 52-14 blowout win against Ole Miss Saturday. "That's what I'm looking for, you know. So I'm very, I believe in everything coach Dooley believes in.

As for what stood out about the actual visit as Couch departed Knoxville?

"The stadium, and just all the facilities. That's what really stood out to me," said the easygoing and soft-spoken Couch. "I got in Friday at 1, and then I went and ate and saw around the school and stuff. The Vol Hall, how big it is and just everything that comes with (stood out). That was a big plus."

Doesn't sound like he enjoyed his visit. Just playing the game.

He's a cock.
