Offensive Guard
St. Louis School
Honolulu, Hawaii

- Ht: 6'5"
- Wt: 285 lbs.
- Class: 2011 (High School)
- Rated #1 player in HI by Rivals
- Rated as 4* and 15th overall by Scout

Being reported on TOS that his family wants him to play in the SEC and he's very interested in UT. Now getting mail from the Vols and very excited.

Brother, who never played in high school, is now a lineman for the Chicago Bears. The brother is married to a TN girl.

Supposedly being recruited hard by Norm Chow and other Pac-10 schools.

Good size and the Pac 10 folks seem to believe in him. I'd like to see him come our way

I'm guessing that Hiestand coached his brother for a year in Chicago. Hopefully an advantage for the Vols.

What happened to the 300 mile radius? Kid looks solid.
If you listened closely, which apparently you didn't, DD said the staff would focus primarily in a 3 to 5 hr driving distance from Knoxville for the core of the team. However if a prospect had real interest in us, we would pursue them no matter where they were.

St.Louis is a private school an get some of the best players. Them along with Kahuku, Farrington, and Leilehua are some of the better teams. There's some big boys and pretty good football played over there.

Jesus, part of those teams were tiny. He looked pretty good though. Have we offered him yet? Rivals has a no.

Maybe this is a reason that Juda Parkers offer was accepted so early.

Off-topic...But I've been to Oahu twice and I lived at Makapuu - what's your favorite beach?

I went to UH one summer and you can't go wrong with anywhere on the North Shore. My favorite was Wiama (sp) Bay?

Wasn't Makapuu the part of the island that the natives didn't like mainlanders visiting?

No, Kaena Point. There are some cabins out there near the weapons station, and a serviceman and his family were killed by some locals. It's not very friendly once you get past Nanakuli. Seems like a lot of Somoans live up there.

Makapuu is where the lighthouse and blowhole is. Tons of tourists roll through there. Not Kaena point. I think most rental care agreements say not to go out there.
