'11 HI DE Juda Parker

Picked Colorado..... With our numbers situation, and the guys still left on our board, good move for the staff to cool on this guy... he'll be a great player at Colorado.

I was never sold on him, JMO. I took alot of heat on another site for saying it, LOL. Everyone kept saying he's gonna be a 4/5*, Rivals said he's a sleeper....YAWN! A solid 3* who committed without ever seeing Knoxville. That in itself lead me to believe we were waisting our time. The last time I remember someone doing that was Josh Nunes. And we all see what happened when he did see Knoxville. He de-committed and blamed it on the airport. But in reality we all know he seen the Clawfense and said WTF.. Not to mention, I TRULY think Nunes was intimidated by the intensity of a ROCKING SEC stadium. When the 107,000 people booed Crompton and Fulmer it literally shook the earth. He knew right then he wasn't ready for this.

Yep. Committed to the Buffs according to ESPN.

Good luck to him; great player and great kid. His career is worth monitoring.

If my recollection is correct, I believe someone with close ties to CCS referred him to the staff, and we took his commitment.

That was my understanding as well. CCS offered him on the basis of what he had heard from other people and not what he had seen himself. Even the coaches have to learn about recruiting, I guess.

Yeah I saw that too. I hope this kid is successful, I don't know why you wouldn't root for him.

I didn't say I wouldn't root for him. But I explained above why I wasn't crazy about a 0* player from Hawaii committing to a school 3,500 miles away. Oh yeah, he had never been there. We p#ssed in the wind with Josh Nunes the same way. Then he finally came here and de-committed. I wish NOT ONLY Juda well, but the ENTIRE Colorado program. That's a proud program that has been down FAR FAR to long, IMO. I miss those Colorado/Nebraska, Nebraska/ Oklahoma rivalries from the late 80's/90's. Thanks to Monopolies (TEXAS) and just overall greed, those great rivalries have been destroyed.

IMO Colorado moving to the PAC-10 will be a big boost to their program, because they will be recruiting more West Coast/ Hawaii players like Parker.

Hope he has success there. I presented at a conference up there last year, and the campus is absolutely gorgeous. Don't see how anyone could not enjoy it.

It's official! -Juda and Paulay have both committed to Colorado! you may have heard of Paulay's O-line coach at Colorado- Steve Marshall (from the Peyton era...) watch out!!! -I gotta say it, "Go Buffs!!!"

Not sure how this guy ever got an offer from us

Apparently you did not see him show out at the Army AA game. The kid has a lot of natural ability and would have been a solid contributor for us.

I wish him nothing but the best at Colorado.

I was already cheering for the Buffs. I have a soft spot for mountain teams. And after visiting Boulder last year, I'm cheering for them even more. Were my favorite Big XII team, and are now my favorite Pac-12 team. Best of luck to Juda and Paulay.

Being that we only signed 27 prospects I wish Derek Dooley would have not pulled this guy's scholarship. Defensive end is a position of need and Juda Parker seems to have alot of upside.

hind sight is 20/20, wish we could see the future but that is the way the ball bounces, very solid recruiting class for us. GO VOLS!!!
