'11 HI DE Juda Parker

Hey TNgirl-N-Hawaii,

do you go to the games? if you do, could maybe keep track of the amount of tackles and sacks Parker gets?

we can't find any stats for him anywhere.

would be greatly appreciated.

St. Louis won today against Damian 66-0...1st stringers didn't even play today (Paulay and Juda didn't even dress out- I guess it was considered an "easy win" game, and I guess the coaches felt it would be a good game to let the 2nd and 3rd strings play the whole time and give the 1st stringers a little rest before their big game next Friday against Punahou...)

Wow.....just...wow.

If Juda was from East Tennessee, the first thing people would do is question his competition level. With them sitting their starters and winning 66-0, how can you do anything but? Yeah I'll get bashed for this, but to me Judah looks like someone who had a couple of good camps and is racking up against horrific competition. The GAME video I watched of him didn't look to impressive, but that's just my opinion.

Well, apparently the UT coaching staff and CCS in particular doesn't agree with your view. So, I'd just hold my tongue about it if I were you. Just saying. I watched the video and he looked quick as hell off the line.

Yeah, I knew it would be about 2 seconds before someone like you bashed me. I asked a legit question. I have an opinion, you do as well. We are both entitled to it. But 66-0 while sitting the starters? HMMMM.

I'm not trying to bash you it's just you essentially have a disagreement with the coaching staffs opinion. Not mine. I respect the notion everyone has the right to their own opinion. I simply dislike pessimism.

everyone at dline at a nike camp doesnt impress you? You question his competition yet he went to a camp with several highly rated players and was the star

I got to agree with you on this Rich. That's a head scratcher. Things that make you go.....

Sorry you guys...I have to take back what I said about Juda sitting out...my father-in law and sister-in-law went to the game while I worked yesterday and there was a miss-communication- Juda DID in fact play yesterday- and they quoted that he played "pretty much the whole game and did awesome, as usual..."

They just now said that Paulay and about 7-8 other starters sat out, but once again Juda DID play...

Sorry...I know this totally will have you questioning my credibility on what I post & I've learned my lesson and will not post about the games unless I have a 1st-hand account...

I will say that the team they played is one of the lowest, if not the lowest ranking team in their league (I think my husband said St. Louis was ranked #1 in their league (ILH- private schools), with Kahuku (OIA- public schools) ranked #1 overall, so the fact that they won 66-0 with 2nd & 3rd stringers, isn't that surprising...)

what I initially posted as to why Paulay and about 7-8 other 1st stringers sat out was my (& my husband's) speculation and is why I said "I guess" a lot in my original post....but once again, my bad... :ermm:

His competition isn't fantastic. However he was very impressive in camp with some elite competition. Todd Kelly recommended him to Coach Smith and after Smith evaluated him he offered him on the spot. IDK what people expect us to do not offer kids because they don't play elite competition? If that were the case we wouldn't be taking hardly any player out of TN. Bottomline is I trust the evaluations of Kelly and Smith over any of us knuckleheads who act like experts on the computer.

Who said he outperformed everyone or the highly rated players? That is simply not true.

He was one of the better players at the camp out of the "sleepers"/unknowns. He made the Top "Sleeper" List.

But he was never mentioned as being one of the Top 11 players at the actual camp or one of the better players at his position at the camp.

Can we get a summery for all of us non-members?

Parker happens to be the biggest surprise along the defensive side of the ball. He always seems to be at the front of the line leading drills and giving 110 percent on every rep. His size is that of a hybrid OLB/DE that will specialize in rushing the quarterback because of his quickness off the ball. Tremendous pad level is at the point of attack combined with quick hands may be his biggest asset. Parker's effort has not gone unnoticed as he has impressed all three Rivals.com analysts and proven to be much better than a two-star prospect.

That was for one day. Not the entire camp which he didn't make the Top 11. He made the Top 11 sleepers, but not the overall Top 11.
