'11 HI DE Juda Parker

Hey! I am the sister-in-law of Paulay Asiata (I'm married to Paulay's oldest brother, Francois...)

Juda & Paulay just had their 1st pre-season game Friday...and...victory was ours (48-8)! -and whose name was constantly being announced after the whistle blew??? -That's right, JUUUUUDDDDDAAAAA!!!!

Don't be hating on our Juda- he is an awesome athlete and you should have seen the tackles he was consistently making Friday night.

I've always taken great pride in being a TN VOL, but after reading all this, I am truly ashamed!!! :ermm:

Ever since Juda verbally committed, I've been telling Paulay how great the SEC is, especially UT and how supportive their fans are...How can I persuade him now, after reading all this!?!

Juda and Paulay have come a long way together (they've been teammates since middle school)...sure, Juda is getting great practice going against Paulay everyday in practice, but just the opposite is true- Paulay is getting "sharpened" daily going against Juda...

Just know you guys, I'm trying my best to let Paulay know how great the SEC is and especially how Great it is to be a TN VOL!!! -Please don't mess this up...I realize you only get your info based solely by what is written online...but come on- what happened to southern hospitality!?!

TNgirl,

Surely you and these boys are smart enough not to take to heart what you read on a message board. You have quite a few laptop wizards on here that don't know their rear end form a hole in the ground. There are idiots all over the place. Plenty to go around.. If The coaches at UT want Juda and Paulay then many here, including me, are all for it..

Wish them the best of luck from VolNation. Hope to see them both in Orange and White soon...

Aloha Juda and Paulay we would love to have you come to TN. I lived in Kapolei, HI for a year and can tell you that its not much different here. I mean my southern upbringing helped me and my family fit in while we lived there. We loved it and wish we could come back. (would miss Live Tennessee football to much) Did like waking up at 6am and watching till 6pm and then parting into the night. Ya'll come on out and see us. We would love to have you. We have some of the best Barbecue in America right here in Tennessee.

Only thing that matters is that the awesome Chuck Smith wants Juda to be a Vol... good enough for me...

TNgirl, Bring Paulay to Rocky Top!!

GBO!

There are some... immature... posters here that assume the recruiting svcs are some sort of gold standard. They think a guy isn't any good if he hasn't gotten attention (and stars). Those who have been watching this awhile know that isn't the case. Guys who get all the props from Rivals or Scout are usually pretty good but many who don't get noticed are just as good or better.

Next time you see something stupid posted about "stars" and how a guy like Juda must not be any good... Just imagine Beavis pounding away on a keyboard.

Good to have you here and thanks for the info...:hi:

I've watched Juda's video and I love it...I could care less how many stars he has...he's going to be great here

I love his name too...makes me think of Luda...:)

Tell your nephew good luck in all he does and that we'd love for him to follow the Luda to UT :)

I've seen in a few different articles that Juda says one of the reasons he commited to Tennessee because it was his best offer to this point, anyone else worried that if some bigger schools start recruiting him that he might start wavering?

Him and a few others.

Hopefully these kids will remember who noticed them first. Doesn't always make the difference but it does seem to really mean something to a recruit. Another positive to bring out of this IMO, it continues to emphasize the staffs ability to spot talent early.

any idea how he did the 1st game? just tryin to keep up with our future players.

Found some game stuff, but nothing individual on Parker at all. Links to full articles where it says Game 1 and Game 2.

Game 1 (8/21): St. Louis 42, Wai'anae 3
Game 2 (8/27): Kahuku 49, St. Louis 27

Wai'anae Game, aka "The Good":
article said:
After a disastrous first series by starting signal-caller Puletua Wilson, Waianae coach Danny Matsumoto went to backup signal-caller Devon Seabrooks for the rest of the first half. Seabrooks went a respectable 5-for-8 under constant pressure by the Crusaders' defensive linemen and linebackers, but the Seariders' ground game was consumed by the hungry Crusaders.

Kahuku Game, aka "The Bad":
article said:
The Red Raiders (3-0) opened the second half with a five minute, 13-second scoring drive to increase their lead to 28-20. But they really blew it open after the Crusaders failed a fake punt on fourth-and-11 at their own 27, when punter Aaron Goo's pass fell incomplete. It took the Red Raiders just two plays to score on tailback Aofaga Wily's nine-yard touchdown run to begin the runaway, making it 35-20.

Wai'anae Game, aka "The Good":

Kahuku Game, aka "The Bad":

Paulay and Juda had 3 pre-season games:

1) August 13- Roosevelt vs. St. Louis
St. Louis won 48-8

2) August 21- St. Louis vs. Waianae
St. Louis won 42-3

3) August 27- Kahuku vs. St. Louis
Kahuku won 49-27*
*1st half of the game was neck and neck- went into half-time 21-20...but last half we had several blocked punts that were returned a short distance for touchdowns, a few penalties that didn't help us, etc...it was a loss, but I wouldn't call it "The bad..." they were a great pre-season opponent, and helped us fine tune some areas to help us go into the regular season strong.

St. Louis had their 1st regular season game this past Saturday against Kamehameha and won 41-17. Paulay and Juda were awesome- it was a great game to start the season! We're really excited!!!

GBO!!!

Hey TNgirl-N-Hawaii,

do you go to the games? if you do, could maybe keep track of the amount of tackles and sacks Parker gets?

we can't find any stats for him anywhere.

would be greatly appreciated.
